"We got what we paid for! We arrived on a hot summer night to a very hot room - no aircon and no fan. We had to make a choice -- open the windows and have the noise from the busy roads and the U-bahn station that was directly across the street (we could see the platform!) or shut the windows to get some quiet -- but at the cost of being very, very hot. The glasses in the bathroom also hadn't been washed and there was toothpaste scum at the bottom of both and a hair in one of them. " - Anonymous

The Hotel City B is situated in a central location directly in the city centre in the district Schoeneberg
The excellent location at the Potsdamer Strasse corner Buelowstrasse offers many advantages for visitors of Berlin.
Therefore it is just few minutes to reach the Berlin Tiergarten, the zoo the Potsdamer Platz with the Sony Center and the famous Kurfrstendamm.
The good connection to public transportations makes it possible to get very quick from one point to the other in a cosmopolitan city like Berlin.
The underground station Buelowstrae is located, just across the road, right beside our hotel.
With its former 67 rooms on 4 floors in apartment style the hotel was renovated in may 2008 and will be finished in its next exclusive, very bright and modern style with 82 room and suites on 6 floors in the end of 2008.
The fundamental improvements will be the redesigned lobby area with its restaurant, bar and lounge.
Furthermore the new designed room are unique in its layout and size in Berlins hotel branch. During the renovation the interior designed concept always lied in its choice of using materials with an extraordinary positive appearance of the colour concept.
In a number of the new renovated rooms a spacious Loft character is spread.
Some of the fragrance elements have the impression of calmness on the different floors and suggesting a seldom comforting holiday feeling to individual and business travellers.

by train and public transport:
Hauptbahnhof S5/S7/S9/S75 Directions Spandau/Wannsee/Grunewald change lines at the S+U Zoologischer Garten, take the U2 direction Pankow, three stations until U Blowstrae. |
