Older style in need of maintenance however all facilities worked. Smallish room but fine for a single traveller. Great location. Good value for money if you can get it at the lower rates.
Made to feel welcome immediately. Downstairs dormitory room not the best but, for the money, it was OK and would be good value for a group or people with bathroom and kitchen. Never got a chance to see the normal rooms but would def consider staying there again. Wins hands down over a travelodge.
Room with Double Bed, ensuite, balcony, air-conditioning, in-house movies and tea and coffee facilities
Room with Double Bed and Single bed, ensuite, balcony, air-conditioning, in-house movies, dvd player and tea and coffee making facilities
Room with queen size bed, updated bathroom, private sunny balcony, free wireless internet, free range of DVD's, 2 movie channels, cafe on site, friendly staff, parking available extra charge, close to all of Sydney's attractions!
Good location. Nice restaurant. Comfortable bed. Small rooms, & this time the balcony was very small. Other times we have had a larger balcony, which was nicer.
Service was excellent, the managers went out of their way to help us. Unfortunately,it feels in need of refurbishment and broadband problems made our stay more frustrating than it should have been.
A great little hotel for the price. Double room meant that bed obscured mirror as room so small so it was difficult to go to work looking respectable.! Staff really lovely and friendly.
Great location, friendly staff, and clean. Apart from that, I was less than impressed. The room was tiny, the furniture was cheap, tasteless 70's stuff. There was a damp patch in the corner of the room, and the tiles were cracked in the (tiny) bathroom. Also, I was not made aware of any lift access, I dont think there was one. So I had to go up 3 flights of stairs, which for me is OK, but for someone less fit with luggage, it could be a real problem. If it has been $30 cheaper, I wouldn't have worried about it, but in my opinion it is a 2 star property masqerading as 3 star. Sorry
The photos looked absolutely better than what the room actually was. The room was tiny and facilities were basic, however we've got all we needed for one night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean bathroom but there seeemed to be some smell coming from the drains when first entering the room. After staying in the room for a while the smell was gone. Great location as Oxford Street was just within walking distance. On-site secured parking faclity is a bonus but I think the staff didn't mention there was a $15 charge on the parking in the first place. There was no closet in the room but it's okay for a one night stay. Overall the room was lower than my expectation for its price, but I think it's acceptable to some degree especially for it's great location. I'll probably stay again if only 1 or 2 nights.
Exceptional staff and service. Great location. Highly recommend.
Friendly and welcoming staff, great location and nice coffee shop. Room was clean but small. Would definately stay again.
Located in an interesting part of Sydney you can enjoy the night life of gay people around. Staff is very nice, only the rooms are simple and not very well-equipped and quite small especially for three people. Wardrobe was missing for a longer stay. Cafe "Room number 9" downstairs recommended for excellent breakfast.
The sliding door locks are a bit of a worry and it wouldn't be too difficult or expensive to fit some good quality security locks to these doors for peace of mind.
Servie was excellent and room was lovely and clean. i foujnd the guys at reception most wexcellent only too pleased to help. Will certainly stay here again
Great location and great service A ++++
I found the staff very interested in your stay and ensuring that they were there if needed, I will stay there again, close to the city, safe parking and undercover, small but neat and tidy
Room was very basic. Staff helpful and friendly and cafe below was more worthy than the room.
I stayed in room 15 for 3 nights , which was spacious (no wardrobe tho). The room was quite noisy as it was on bottom floor and as check out was 10am people were coming and going early. The staff especially on reception were very helpful and polite. Useful to have laundry and ironing facilities and internet connection was free (very good). I would probably stay again but only for a few days.
Great cafe affiliated to motel with all day breakfast and other yummy things. Great location too.
A nicely located hotel with a good cafe on the street. The executive suite seems a bit of a con. It comes with wireless broadband, but that is probably available throughout the hotel. Also, it doesn't have any wardrobe space or clothes drawers. So most suitable for the overnight stay.
It was ok the staff were friendly but I felt the place was a little run down and for the price you can get something a little more up-to-date. The bath was renovated but at the very cheapest end. I did like the balcony and location.
very helpful proprietor, rather a shabby little room, but in a very interesting place, good cafe downstairs, friendly. Probably good value considering the location
