I would just like to say that the service was as good as I have seen in a hotel. The staff were really helpfull.
Comfortable hotel in excellent location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was comprehensive in choice but "hot" breakfast lacked flavour and was a little on the tepid side. Would definitely stay there again.
Standard room for double occupancy. Air-conditioning, iron, minibar, refrigerator and safe deposit box are on request basis.
Executive room for double occupancy. Air-conditioning, iron, minibar, refrigerator and safe deposit box are on request basis.
once again our stay at the city hotel was perfect. Staff are always excellant, hotel clean and good facitilies in a very centrl location in the city.
We stayed here for one night in September 2008. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to around Derry from this location. Food was nice in the bar and the buffet breakfast was also of a good standard.
First Class Hotel in every way. Will definitely be using again!! Very Highly Recommended!!!
Excellent hotel in the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff.
friendly staff ,excellent location, would recommend to anyone
A brilliant hotel. Been there many times and never had a bad word to say about it!
An enjoyable stay at a comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. One place one would come back to.
This is an excellent hotel for a city break. There is a lovely Chinese restaurant called The Mandarin Palace 2 minutes walk away but you must book as it gets very busy.Only downside is the small car park with only 40 spaces which fill up quickly, but there is car parking on street outside.
Only stayed the 1 night, but the staff are very friendly, we asked for an iron and within 5 minutes it was delivered to our room. Excellent rooms with large comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Take your swimming & gym gear as these facilities are very good. WOULD recommend.
The City Hotel was generally a pleasant stay. One aspect that could have been improved on was the leisure area with pool, steam room etc. When we entered the leisure area they were unable to access anymore towels for us to borrow and we had to return to our room to get our room towels to use. This was quite inconvenient. We did not eat dinner in the hotel but had breakfast the next morning. Was okay but some of the items for the cooked breakfast lacked quality and taste. However, there was a good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, toast, cooked breakfast and pastries available. Location of the hotel is very good - quite close to train station and very close to city centre, old historic walls, restaurants and bars, shops etc.
Great staff, was there for a wedding reception. Nothing was a problem and they couldn't help you enough. Only down side - room service menu could have been better. Nice to see a smiling face at the front desk, very helpful also.
as the hotel is 4**** can't understand why there was only a 4ft 6 bed and not a king size one in our double room as there was plenty of space for one
i thought this hotel hotel was Ideal. Istayed here for a wedding and is was PERFECT, the only thing i would have a problem with i hada problem with was the residents bar...it closed way too early!
The hotel was comfortable and clean with professional and friendly staff. Although the hotel is situated close to the city centre I found the main road very noisy. I would stay again but request a room to the back of the building in the hope of a decent night's sleep
I had a very enjoyable stay in the City hotel. The staff were nice and helpfull and the facilities second to none.
This was my second visit to this Hotel since May this year and have already booked for another two night stay 27th ?29th July. What does that tell you.
Outstanding hotel with excellent facilities and extremely friendly and professional staff.Magnificent ensuite room with view over River Foyle.Restaurant and bar menu first class. Entertainment provided on Saturday night(Phillis)created superb atmosphere amongst guests. Hotel is of impeccable standard and I have no hesitation in recommending it very highly
would stay again great location friendly staff value for money
