City Hotel Verona

Very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is new and very nice. No complaints except the location is very far from Verona historical town. Buses stop service by 8 pm on weekday, even worse on Sunday. If you drive, this is ideal; if you don't and need to take a bus, this is time consuming. You need to watch your bus schedule and catch the correct one; bus are generally on time. For those arriving by train, catch the bus number 21 from Bay F in front of the train station. Make sure it goes all the way to San Giovani Lepatoto- some of the services stop at the neighbouring suburb and there are no taxis there to continue your journey. Don't arrive past 7 pm at the train station, you need time to find and orientate yourself before the last bus at 7:37 pm One of the better hotels I would recommend though.

Need a car to get into Verona itself as there are no buses, however great hotel, excellent rooms, friendly staff and great local restaurants nearby.

The people are very kind in the Hotel. The breakfast is complex everybody can choose. The price/value ratio is good. I recommend it to everybody.

we stayed at city hotel verona for three nights and found it a pleasure. the hotel is very clean and comfortable and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. i would definately recommend it.

For the price you can't complain about this hotel. It was clean, the room was large, the service was excellent and breakfast was good. However, it is more then 5km away from the city centre (probably about 8km). A taxi will cost you about €12 - 18 and the buses are cheap (however make sure you know where the bus stop is in the city centre). Also there are only 8 spaces on the mini bus that takes you to the opera so make sure you get your name on there early.

It was a very good deal. The hotel was a little far from the city center but they have their shuttle bus service and some public transportations to city center. They had a bus available for guests going to opera (and coming back, too.) The breakfast they are offering was much better than the usual ones from other Italian hotels. The rooms are bigger than usual hotels that I stay with this budget. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, good beds, very friendly staff.

This hotel was great, lovely modern decor and very friendly staff. There is a great restaurant only a few metres down the road. Driving to Verona centre was easy, but ensure that you do have a map to find the hotel. There are clear signs all the way to the hotel.

We booked into the hotel, 6km from Verona, for two nights to attend two operas. As the hotel has a shuttle bus which provides free transport to and from the opera, the location was not the major disadvantage which it appeared to be. There is also a local bus service to the centre fo Verona during the day. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Clean rooms, nice staff and great buffet breakfast. Only downside is that it is not in the city centre.
