"Hotel is in a great location just a small entrance to the hotel which made difficult to find. But once inside felt warm and relaxing. We were walking distance to Darling Harbour,and close to Ferry and train stations.with Taxi stand,airport shuttle right at the door. The staff were very friendly and accommodating - even when we had a few problems LIKE the TV didn't have a great picture,and the fact that our "Double" bed was actually 2 singles joined together made sleeping hard with the join down the middle.we were given a late check-out and free bottle Wine for the problems free of charge as we didn't fly until the evening. I would recommend City Lodge if you are after somewhere close for sightseeing and nothing fancy

Driving from the Airport
Head west on General Holmes Drive toward South Western Motorway, veering slightly left at the South Western Motorway. Take the exit toward Marsh Street, turning right. Turn right to merge onto South Western Motorway. Merge onto General Holmes Drive and veer left at the Eastern Distributor (toll may be applicable). Exit onto Bent Street. Turn left into Bligh Street then right into Hunter Street. We are halfway between Pitt and George Streets.
Rail
The lodge is steps away from Wynyard station, a major part of the ''City Circle'' and only two stations away from Central station. From Central you have accessibility from virtually every other train station including Sydney Airport.
Taxi
Approximately $30 to get to/from the Sydney Airport.
