Getting there:City Oasis is just 1km from the railway station, and 1km from the nearest bus depot. We are 6km from Townsville Airport. To find the property from the centre of Townsville's Flinders Mall, travel up Stokes St until you reach the intersection of Stokes St and Wills St. Turn left onto Wills Street. City Oasis is located at 143 Wills Street, on your right hand side.

Car parking:At City Oasis, we have free off street parking available. Some of this parking is undercover, and some is situated directly outside units. Handicapped parking spots are also available.

Double bed + single bed makes a small room a little tight. TV is quite small. Restaurant meals very good and reasonably priced
The heavily advertised spa and pool are the best thing here. We had upstairs room, no staff to help with bags. Small room.

I had 9 nights at City Oasis Townsville July'08. I found t convenient for the centre quiet comfortable and clean. I would revisit.
Good location near town centre. The garden is an oasis and lovely to sit in. Was impressed by the food in the restaurant, The rooms are adequate but not luxurious. Thankfully there was air-conditioning as it was very hot. Staff helpful and very friendly.

A great place to stay if you want to be in the city. Very central and in general a nice stay. The TV in the rooms are ridiculously small. I dont think Ive ever seen a smaller TV.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for mid range accommodation with a central location, although the cleaning of the rooms could be improved.

My room did not have a reading lamp over my bed. Staff were excellent. Airconditioning was difficult to operate.
Fairly basic rooms, but neat and tidy.TV's too small though. Quiet and relaxing ( the odd bit of noise around the pool) although cosy and pleasant tropical pool area. Very freindly and accomodating staff. I didn't really rate the restaurant/cafe but there are a number of good restaurants in town within walking distance or short taxi ride (taxi readily available). Definitely the best aspect of this hotel is the pool area - we weren't able to fit in a swim during our short stay but can definitely recommend the heated Spa on an Australian winter's evening.
