From the seventh floor you can see a glimse of Acropolis. Great!
A few stops on the subway from the main "action" but this was not a great handicap -- a 500 metre walk to the atation was pleasant, passing a few nice coffee shops. The staff at the hotel were all very courteous, and tour arrangements were exceptionally well-handled. The rooftop dining had a nice ambience, but the food quality and service could be a little better.
Staff always helpful - especially when my wallet was stolen on the Metro! Clear Advice. Great hot & cold Breakfast buffet - especially the Yoghurt & Honey!! Fabulous view of the Acropolis & Lycabettus Hill from the rooftop bar/restaurant (weather permitting). Hotel of choice in Athens.
Nice hotel, try to stay here.
good location, very good rooms and excellent everything else you can think of,recommended !
The hotel, though slightly out of the centre was easily accessible by the Metro. When we went there weren't any useful instructions on how to get there on the website so: come out of the metro at the Victoria Station. Cross Victoria Square and continue down the street, turn left when coming to a larger street. The hotel is on your left. The breakfasts were great, as mentioned by others and the view from the rooftop restaurant was gorgeous.
The staff is wonderful and the location (close to Victoria square and Metro station) was good for us. The rooftop restaurant had great views of the Acropolis, but the food was the worst we had during 1 1/2 weeks in Greece. We stayed at the City Plaza twice, once for 2 nights and again for 1 night after visiting the Cyclades, and for the second stay our room for some reason was downgraded from a standard size to micro-sized. Having said that, we would stay there again, but would check the room before accepting the key and would never eat at this hotel again. Overall, the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff would get us to return.
The information on check in and out time was wrong, the hotel was quite cosy the only bad thing was when the key was off the switch to generate electricity, there was no A.c working on the very hot days.
