"Excellent short stay budget hotel ,and only short walk to Chappel street,the Cafe,and shopping Hub of Melbourne. Rooms small,but ok .

"Minimal decor and freshly painted giving the rooms a sterile feel. Service was excellent - only had to ask for the staff to provide. The Claremont is a 77-room budget bed and breakfast Guest House in the heart of Melbourne's trendy fashion strip, South Yarra. Located 100 metres from Chapel St we are surrounded by many café's, restaurants, bars, night clubs and retail boutique's.
If you feel like a change from all that South Yarra has to offer, a tram, or train, can quickly take you to Melbourne's many attractions. Only 10 minutes by train to Melbourne city centre.
All rooms at the Claremont Guest House have a colour television, telephone, wall heater, ceiling fan, luggage/shelf rack, and a small desk and chair. Bathrooms are located just outside rooms in the corridor. Please note that access to all rooms is via stairs only.
24-hour tea and coffee, microwaves, guest fridge, daily newspapers, a book exchange, Internet facilities and public phones are provided in our dining room and lounge. You are welcome to use this as your common space. Complimentary Continental breakfast consists of: orange juice, choice of 5 cereals, choice of 3 tinned fruits, tea/coffee, toast and preserves.
Continental breakfast is included in all rates.

Train from city to South Yarra station (10mins)
No 8 Tram from Swanston St Melbourne to stop 30 at South Yarra Stn walk 100 mtrs to Hotel Claremont.
Airport 25kms. Skybus shuttle to Southern Cross stn ($16 o/w), then train to South Yarra. |

Cancellation Policy: No refunds for cancellations; No refunds for reduction of booking at or after check-in.
