Claremont Hotel Singapore

Breakfast was great and included in cheap price. Bathroom need replumbing and airconditioner was terribly noisy but worked. Good deal for large family room of 5 people, hard to find in Singapore.

this hotel in a great location, the rooms a good size and it has the ticks for facilties... note they are doing up the place and the areas they have not done are showing their age.... this well above the value hotel and the 81, the staff very helpful and make you feel at home... i reccomend it but accept some rooms may have things that need work or repair... tell them if you are not happy they will sort out

The hotel is well located wrt trains food and facilties, its an older style and is being prettied up but definately budget, i suggest this if you can handle a place thats a little rough but well priced,. bargin with them for 10 to 20% discounts to entend stays

The hotel is very conviniently located as it is exactly opposite Serangoon Plaza the front side of Mustafa in little India. a blessing for foodies as it has pleanty of Indian restaurants around serving better food at cheaper prices, it is a value for money hotel as it is very reasonable. the family room is quite spacious and can easily accomodate 4 to 5 people. Suggestions:- the towels could have been better as some of them were torn, also the breakfast has the same menu every morning.

The room is fine except that the comfort room does not have any window or exhaust fan and with that, the smell of the comfort room sticks inside the hotel room. The buffet breakfast and the dining room is not very pleasing. Claremont hotel is recommended for those who are in a budget or will just use the hotel to sleep for a few hours. One advantage of this hotel is that it is very near the Farrer Park MRT station and Mustaffa Center(24 hours open).

The plus factor for this hotel is its accessibility to MRT and Mustafa shopping mall.There's no problem with the size of the room which we reserved (one Queen size and a single bed) since most time of the day we're out of it and we used it only to sleep in.My only complaint is the shower which does not work, so we have to kneel a little bit to use the faucet which is placed higher than the normal height and i think the carpet needs cleaning/shampooing to rid of the not so pleasant odor inside .We do not appreciate the food served in breakfast and its presentation/preparation.

Toilet very bad, wash basin badly fitted, and entire toilet get wet when open the wash basin tap. No hot water, no shower curtain. Other facilities and services are acceptable for the price.

Great location over the road from Mustafa Shopping Centre and Farrer Park MRT. Hotel needs some refurbishment but for the price and location is worth the stay. The room has good airconditioning and a bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities.

I would recommend this hotel for a short stay (2 to 4 nights) to anyone who is budget conscious and looking for an easily accessible place and would NOT be staying in the hotel the whole day. Just expect the barest minimum and be happy with the extra perks that come along.
