Clarion Hotel Cork Guest Reviews

5 out of 5

We often stay in the Clarion for our wedding anniversary. It is extremely close to the city centre. (Shops and Restaurants). We ate the first night in the restaurant in the bar. It was excellent. The waitress from Poland (with the Cork accent), was very good humoured and helpful. There is a great 'buzz' in the bar. The food was excellent.

Checked in staff very friendly and fast no delays .. Pool excellent . Underground car park €10per day very slow to process when leaving park. Plenty of bar staff but very disappointing service from them both evenings

Very nice hotel, great location near the town centre and on the river Lee. Very near the bus station which had regular service to and from the airport.

We stayed at this hotel for the Cork Jazz Fest and it was Unbelievable. The hotel is situated in the centre of town and within walking distance to everything. We had a very pleasant check in, and all staff where very pleasant and helpful. Our room was fabulous and our view overlooked the lobby which was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who where staying in Cork. I would rate this hotel 10 out of 10.

Found the bedroom very small for a four star hotel with an office block looking into it, really only suitable for one person

Only issue is that you have to pay for parking which I believe should be included in the cost.

Good modern hotel in ideal location in centre of city. Request external room on booking as some rooms open to internal areas. Breakfast is good so try to get inclusive rate. Carparking €7 per day

Hotel was clean and modern. However, the food served from the bar menu in the lobby was very disappointing.

The staff were very helpful particularly when I lost a credit card in the hotel. The location is very good but we had difficulty finding the entrance to the hotel as it was not very well sign posted.

Two friends and I spent one night here last weekend. The welcome from reception could not have been friendlier and this continued for our stay. Help with day trips and public transport timings were quickly given. Our check in should have been at 3pm but when we asked if we could leave our bags there from 8am, we were shown to our room! The beds were in a set up of a double and single. When we returned in the afternoon, this had been changed to 3 singles as had been requested on booking. This is a modern and comfortable hotel, centrally located and close to shops, bars and the bus and train stations. I would not hesitate to book this hotel on my return to Cork
