Getting there:Located on the corner of Springvale & Canterbury Roads, Forest Hill. Only 20 minutes from the city via the eastern freeway. Turn right at the end of the Eastern Freeway onto Sprinvale road and travel for aproximately three kilometers until you reach Canterbury Road and turn right into the hotel. Eastside Airport shuttle stops at the door on request. Nunawading railway station is 1 km North of The Canterbury and a regular bus service travels along Springvale road from the station and stops at the door.

We have stayed at the Clarion quite a few times and it one of the best, the service is excellent along with all other facilities, well done Clarion!!!
Very good cleanliness is negated by in-between servicing of the room during the stay. If u want to clean the room, do it to the 'new' standard when we first enter.

We were very pleased with the hotel. We were a party of four adults and the room certainly did not feel cramped. The amenities were good and the little extras in the room were a very nice touch. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
Great reception and very good bed. Amazingly quiet considering the hotel is on two of Melbourne's busiest Eastern Suburbs roadways. Breakfast was OK but could be made a little 'classier' which would be more in keeping with the rest of this very good hotel
Miles from the city centre, but do not let that put you off unless you need to be there for business. All the staff were fantastic. Rooms above expectation. Only fault is that breakfast over the weekend was supposed to finish at 11am, and it was cleared way at 9.55am when we went down. However a continental beakfast was offered at a reduced price. Would stay there again.
Reception staff were a little rude, possibly due to fact we were an "Internet" booking - possibly not. Toilet flush system needs review in room 108 ....faulty .....
Found the quality of room and services to be of a good standard. I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again without hesitation.
Rooms tastefully furnished. Good restaurant. Facilities great. Very quiet, considering it was on the corner of two major roads. Would happily stay again.

The hotel caters very well for business and leisure travellers and we found that the location convenient for nearby shopping centres and easy access to the freeway. Staff were very friendly and the rooms immaculate.
A very clean room. We stayed in the executive spa suite. The room overlooked a nice court yard. The beds are comfortable and spacious. Limited cable tv channels were available but the tv reception was very mediocre. There was plenty of information inside the room about the facilities and activities available. There is a shopping centre close by and a cinema which was very convenient. We had a very nice breakfast and the usual stock of mini bar items were availabe in the room. There are no dvd/video/cd players that come standard with the room, they incur a surcharge. we would highly recommend it.
We enjoyed our stay immensely. All staff were helpful and friendly, the meal and service in the restaurant was great, the room well appointed and very comfortable.

They originally gave us an incorrect room type, but was handled very professionally and even gave us an upgrade on the original type room booked.
The hotel was very impressive, the staff extremely friendly, for the price it was execellent value, Meals great. We had to leave earlier than breakfast was served, but the staff went out of their way to have a breakfast for us. Would most definaltly stay there again. Highly recommneded
