Welcome to Adelaide's newest boutique accommodation experience, Clarion Hotel Soho. Soho is a designer hotel evoking the eclectic, arty vibe of London’s Soho district just metres from Adelaides trendy East End. Decant features a modern Australian menu, perfectly complemented by the restaurant's impressive cellar of wines from celebrated vineyards in South Australia and France. The perfect place to unwind, Soho boasts a rooftop deck where guests can relax by the heated jet pool overlooking Adelaide's city skyline with the hotel's signature cocktail Sohotini in hand. For a true pampering session, Soho Spa offers in-room spa treatments with 100% Australian-made organic products using native flora including lemon myrtle, Australian jojoba and blue mallee eucalyptus.

Getting there:
From Adelaide Airport: Turn right onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive, then left on West Terrace. Turn right on to Grote Street and follow on to Wakefield Street. Turn left at Pulteney Street and then right on to Flinders Street. Hotel is located toward the end of Flinders Street on the left hand side, approximately a 15 minute drive from the airport.

Check-in Procedure:
Credit card pre-authorisation of $100.00 required at check-in. If paying with cash, $200.00 bond required at check in and account must be kept in credit during stay. All extra's to be paid at check out. Check in is any time after 2pm on your day of arrival and check out is 11am on your day of departure. Hotel will endeavour to accommodate early arrivals, but cannot guarantee that early arrival requests will be met.

Car parking:
Valet parking available @ $25 per day. Self-parking available @ $15 per day. On-street parking available on Flinders St - restricted. (Street parking is FREE between 6pm and 9am Mon-Fri; then after 12 noon on Saturday's until 9am Monday morning. Between 9am-6pm Mon-Fri parking is $4.60 for every 2hrs & then only 20c between 8am-12pm on Saturday's. Parking on Flinders St is FREE on Sunday's and Public Holidays).

Child Policy:
Children under 12years free using existing bedding.

In hindsight, it's a real shame there had to be human interaction in this hotel experience - else it would have been an excellent review. The location, size and layout of the room was really very nice, but the lack of care from girl at the check in counter was simply offensive; it was like we were inconveniencing her by us being there wanting to check in. A very nice hotel but I'm not sure we'd use it again based on the staff service.

THank you for this opportunity. We stayed only one night at the Clarion. THe hotel was great it is very modern, a little dark in corridors. Our room was very comfortable. Great bed and was light and well appointed. However the bathroom is very small, the shower was not well placed and the floor was flooded when the shower was used. The Hotel staff did not understand that we had paid our bill via Hotel Club even though we told them the full amount had showed up on our AMX the previous week. They checked and all was ok. They have a restaurant attached which is very nice we had an average breakfast in there and this was extra cost. The loction is in a back street no outlook from the rooms at all which was dissapointing as Adelaide is such a beautiful city with parks everywhere. THe staff were very good. We would stay there again but I think prefer a better aspect from our room.

Nice hotel, nice rooms. Not quite in the centre of things, but still walking distance. All aditional charges (room service, internet, etc) quite expensive.

More a boutique hotel really. Located in quiet eastern part of Adelaide city. Rooms comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. Convenient location but parking a little expensive.

The Soho was certainly a new, funky hotel. Loved the little lap pool on the roof. Sometimes funky design seemd to take priority over practicalities eg a shower screen that didn't keep the water in the shower & a lack of lighting for the bathroom mirror and luggage area. Location was close enough to walk to most things in the CBD. Free movie channels & DVDs to borrow was a nice bonus.

I was rather impressed with the hotel and if i went back would love to stay there again. extremly friendly staff and the feel was very first class even for the standard suite.
