The Clarion Hotel Suites Limerick is located 5 minutes' walk from Thomond Park, 10 minutes walk from Limerick City Centre and only 15 minutes drive from Shannon International Airport. Each Clarion Hotel Suite has a separate sitting/dining room, free high speed internet access, balcony, extra tvs, safety deposit box, power shower, iron and board, kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Hotel facilities include free car parking, mini gym and an independent bar and restaurant onsite. Guests also get free use of the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym and pool at the sister hotel, Clarion Hotel Steamboat Quay located 10 minutes away. Clarion Hotel Suites Limerick are just across from the Gaelic Grounds. Guests receive special rates at the Limerick Lawn Tennis Club and 10% discount at the Seventh Heaven Day Spa, both also opposite. Superbly located on the much sought after Ennis Road, directly across from Limericks Gaelic Grounds and only a 10 minute stroll into Limerick City Centre. Just 5 minutes away is the Millennium Theatre at Limerick Institute of Technology and Thomond Park, the home of Muster Rugby. The attractions of Limerick City are many with King Johns Castle, the Hunt Museum, Dolans Pub with traditional Irish music 7 nights a week plus 20 other dining options all within 10 minutes. 10 minutes will bring you to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Limerick Racecourse, Limerick Greyhound Track, Shannon International Airport and the University Concert Hall. A varied choice of world class Golf Courses are within 60 minutes including: Lahinch and Doonbeg Links, Dromoland Castle, Adare Manor and Shannon.

We were very pleased with our large 2 bedroom suite.Although we were on the ground floor and it was quite dark inside. Kitchen could do with side plates and sharp knife. Quite a bit outside the downtown ares,its a long walk into town so we decided to bring the car in to go to dinner. Would stay again definitely.

Stayed here for a week over the Christmas period. Have stayed before so i was not a new comer. We were 2 adults and 2 kids. Suites are great for the space but that was where it ended this time. The restaurant has closed down 23rd December and I was not aware of this before arriving. Hence no bar, no dining room for dinner, no hot breakfast...no hot anything at all! Felt like a block of flats without all of this. There was zero atmosphere as a result. They did offer a continental breakfast but the lovely girl on reception appeared to be the only one working so you fended for yourself...and if you needed something (like marmalade!) you popped all the way out to reception to bring her to you to help. We cut our stay short by a night cause we had had enough. Pity really cause the staff are lovely (and maybe overworked) and the suites themselves are super. But if you are looking for ambience....it's more like a block of apartments now than a hotel.

With having suites, it is ideal for a friends or family getaway. The suites are quite big for entertaining. When I went I booked a 2 bed suite and another friend booked a 1 bed. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us meeting up in the 2 bed as living room was quite big.

Excellent value for the price we paid via [website], Suites are superb, plenty of space, our 2 Bed room suite had 1 Double bed, 4 single beds. Would recommend for groups or families. Staff also v friendly and efficient.
