Clarion Suites Gateway Melbourne Hotel

Great stay - good indoor pool and caters for families. Nice personal touch of cookies in the room and sofa bed all made up. Nothing was too much trouble.

Great location, close to everything, friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Very clean spacious room. Yarra View room proved to be a little bit noisy, however, once bedroom door was shut as suggested this did quieten down the noise considerably. This was my second visit to Clarion Suites Gateway, and would consider staying here again, but will not request a Yarra View room again. First stay was so much more quieter.

Staff were professional and friendly. Location was very convenient to work and restaurants. Overall, happy with my stay and deal!

Romm was very clean, bed very comfortable and lovely pillows. Great breakfast Was a very nice stay and would go there agin.

Easy access to Melbourne Aquarium and Crown Casino. Room is spacious. Air conditioning seems a little problem during our first night of stay. However, it was fixed the next day. Free beer treat from the hotel which is very nice!

Got upgraded (again) with great views. also received home made shortbread (again) and service was as impeccable as ever. No complaints at all.

I , and a friend stayed one night. The room was smart , clean . The meal in Coleman's Restaurant was exceptional and the overall service outstanding. It was my second time at the hotel and I will be back again.

Nice location and well appointed rooms. Make sure you ask for a room that is away from the lift though !

We found the room clean and well laid out - thought, strangely, the handbasin and mirror are not in the bathroom but outside near the kitchen area. Were automatically upgraded to a river view room. Location was excellent - right on the Yarra and with the free city circle tram virtually outside the front door. Reception efficient and pleasant.

Staff were very helpful whenever needed, rooms were clean and wat we needed although there was not any linen provided for the pull out lounge but was rectified immediately, the sheets on the main bed didnt appear to be clean, otherwise happy with the stay.

Very Handy location. Bathroom was small and in need of updating. Some Train noise in early hours of Monday morning. Bed however was exceptionally comfortable!

Wee bit pokey for a king room, would have liked a little couch to relax instead of having to lay on the bed. Apart from that was very nice.

Good location. Very nice view of the Yarra River just across the Crown Casino.

All round excellent accommodation with excellent service. Would recommend to anyone staying in Melbourne.

Great accommodation and location - Clean, Tidy and extremely friendly staff.

This hotel indicates that it has Foxtel/cable TV but only has 4 channels and 3 are sport. Screen size is small even tho flatscreen and cannot be moved on swivel bas. i would recommend taking a one bedroom iso a studio as it is very small but sufficient if on one night stay. Staff are fantastic and gave feedback to Managemnet which was replied to sma e day. Obviously they appreciate their staff and this shows.

Have stayed here a number of times - always happy with the accommodation. A good view of the light towers at Crown Complex.

Excellent location for getting around Melbourne CBD. Loved the view of the Yarra from 9th floor room across to Southbank. Double glazing on bedroom windows kept noise to acceptable level. Reception staff in particular very helpful especially with regard to queries about how to get to places.

A very central location with polite and helpful staff. Very clean room with well designed suites. Transport no problem with trams and trains nearby. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
