Hotel Claudia Augusta Vicolo San Francesco d' Assisi, 1 31032 Casale sul Sile (Treviso)
A 19th Century Venetian Villa has been transformed into a three star country Hotel. The new Hotel has been given the name Hotel Claudia Augusta in honour of the old Roman road which joined the ancient town of Altino with Germany, running past the land on which the Hotel is situated. A holiday at the Hotel Claudia Augusta enables you to fulfil your desire to visit the splendid Cities of Venice and Treviso , yet enjoy the peace and quiet that a Nature Reserve can ensure. A relaxing break with us after a long day’s work will be even more pleasant in Winter snuggled in front of the Fogher or in Spring and Summer in the park, maybe having a taste of one of the many quality local wine coming from the famous Trevisian Cellars. Set in its own private park of 3 hectares, immersed in the context of the agricultural firm that surrounds it, owned and run by the same family. The stucture has retained the particular details typical o these antique Venetian homes, such as the distinct “fogher” the hearth around a large central fireplace, once the heart of domestic activity, now becoming fulcrum of the Hotel lounge.

Very nice place in sweety small town, with very friendly personality. I will recomanded hotel to all my friends, and if I ever go to that part of Italy I will certainly stay at Claudia Augusta Hotel Casale sul Sile.
The hotel and the surrounding area was great. I recommend having a rental car. The hotel is away from town if you have no transportation. We did not have a car for the first day, but the "Al Canton Restaurant" provide pick up service. I highly recommend lunch and dinner at Al Canton. The food and prices were much better than any restaurant in Venice. I would stay again at this hotel next time.
When we arrived, the hotel looked a little bit out of the way from the main roads, but later this proved to be an asset. On the last day of our trip we sat outside on the tables and chairs provided and relaxed.Apart from the odd distant traffic sound there was complete silence. After 2 days of walking around Venice it was a welcome change. The staff could not be more helpful,I would reccomend this hotel without hesitation.
Is a bit out of the way but the hotel shuttle to airport / station is good, if you have a car no problem.
Nice small hotel. To get to Venice you need a car
