Getting there:Club Bamboo is located in the area of Patong Beach, in the island province of Phuket, on the West Cost of Southern Thailand. Once you are in Patong, the resort is easy to find on Soi Na Nai (Na Nai Road), in the beginning of the foothills of the mountains overlooking Patong Beach and a part of Patong Bay. The resort is about 800 meters from the beach, which is a 10 minute stroll or an easy 3 minute drive by the free shuttle service. The hotel is build on a slope in the foothills, on a rise along the old rubber tree and coconut plantations, formerly known as "Na Nai Plantation", with a view over Patong and Patong Bay. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Nice facilities and very clean. overall very good experience. Location is not so close to the heart of patong but still worth it.
for the price this hotel is very good. top service always freindly and helpful i would stay again.its queit and relaxing surrounds make it a nice place to be .just a 3 minute drive to beach or bangla or 15 min walk
Was good value for price. Free shuttle to Patong was good as 10 minute drive down hill. Spa/ massage is excellent and restaurant staff were great cooked our fresh tuna caught in 4 Thai dishes that was fantastic! Checkout disorganised - 20 minutes to sort out as item on bill not ours and problems with printer. They forgot to produce bill for 5 days room stay and rang us 2 days later at 2nd Kata resort we were staying at so left $ with hotel staff there for Club Bamboo staff to pickup - just as well we are honest!
Good value for money. Clean and basic accommodation, nice pool although a bit small to do any real swimming. Away from the hustle and bustle of Patong but very convenient free hourly shuttle bus to beach.
The staff are friendly and nice, however, the breakfast taste average and the locatino is not very convenience.
A very nice place,very cozy, discreet,surrounded by lush greenery and bamboos.Outdoors excellent,nice small pool was very nicely hidden from public eyes by tall bamboos.nice restaurant setup,but misses an attractive bar.we stayed in a superior room since we planned most of our time outdoor.the room is ok for the price(700 baht/per night)but misses proper lighting.bathroom very nice & well lighted and on top of it very, very good service.i recommend this hotel for the price and service and discreet settings.
New Fitness Center and Spa/Massage Center were wonderful. Wide assortment of rooms, some wood classic, some ultra modern, all very nice. Hourly shuttle to town (limited service back). Massage and restaurant reasonably priced. Lots of stairs, as hotel is built into the side of a hill. All in all very pleasant, and I would definitely stay there again.
We had a very plesent stay in a room with direct pool access. I recomend this. Hotel has no fitness, as promised in ads. Old hotel nearby has fitness room, but everything is broken and the hotel management did nothing to repair things for the 8 nights we stayed there, and many peoples complained. For people who (like us) like walking in stairs and hills.

the Club is a very good impressive place, and you can rent DVD's for free. but we had few issues with the place: theres no sidewalk to the beach... there was always building noises at 7:00 in the morning that kept us from sleeping every day, and the fitness place is not REALLY a fitness place... some REALLY old 3 machines. but other than that, it is really good place - we stayed in suprior room that was rellay clean and big! worth every bahat
Some areas of potential improvement eg choice of English TV channels = Fashion channel and Business channel. Others were in German, Thai and Italian. Needs upgrading of DVD options also, as some movies were very old. The swimming pool was nice but surrounded by trees so sun did not get through. Staff were very nice, helpful and polite. My room was just near pool/restuarant and I felt people could look into the room, meaning I needed to close the curtains all the time. One curtain was not wide enough to cover the window, meaning I had feelings of people being able to look in. Overall, given the price, I was quite happy with this place.
From start to finish our experience at Club Bamboo was excellent. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who goes to Phuket. We found being slightly out of town an advantage and really relaxing to get away from the busy nightlife and shops. The best of both worlds. We will go back!!
Lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a good size and have all the necessary amenities. One big plus is the location. Set at a good distance away from Patong Beach on a surrounding hillside. Would definitely stay there again.
Though perhaps a little older than some of the other hotels in Patong, the service is of a high standard and the location is ideal for those who want access to Patong without being caught up in the chaos!
A pleasant stay, however most rooms smelled of smoke. Restaurant staff were friendly and genuine. Great air-conditioning (nice & cold).Food was good.
