We stayed at the Cluny Square Hotel for 4 nights from 3/7/2011. This was our second stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel, friendliness of the staff, and the newly renovated room made our stay exceptional. We would not hesitate to stay there again.
Great location and despite VERY small rooms they were very clean and attractive. However, I feel that for the price - it may not be the best value. I found some staff very good and others not so. Also I had a lot of trouble connecting to the internet from my room and had little help to address the situation. Not something you need when you really need to work. Breakfast was good but breakfast room was too small.
The Cluny Square Hotel is in a fabulous location. It is right next to the metro and a great neighborhood for walking around and for finding restaurants and cafes. Plus it is an easy walk to Notre Dame and many other local famous sights. The perfect place for our first trip to Paris. If there is one drawback, the rooms are small with very little soundproofing; small price to pay for such a great location!
Great little boutique hotel in the latin quarter opposite the Sorbonne and close to Isle the Cite and Notre Dame. Rooms are very small but cosy and clean. Breakfast is a little light and repetitive. The reception staff are not the friendliest but this could just be a Parisian thing. I would stay there again.
This hotel is in a great position - very central and right next to the Metro. The rooms are a bit small but very comfortable and clean with everything that we needed. The breakfast was better than expected and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
A good hotel on a really nice place - easy to reach the Paris' sights from here. The room was not very big, but it was not a problem since it was well planned and functioned well.
Great location, rooms small but very comfortable, very clean, breakfast good. All round a great hotel in the Latin Quarter
Perfect location, cleaning of bathroom not great, was being renovated but not really a problem
I will return again as close to Notre Dame, the meidieval museum, the book-shops, good food, and transport. Breakfast was missable.
No lift to reception on 1st floor, a bit difficult to carry heavy suitcases up and down a spiral staircase. Hotel in an excellent position. Not spotlessly clean. Room wasn't serviced on one day. But quite good value for the price.
Good hotel in great location. Only bad point is no lift between ground and reception on first floor
Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing renovations at the time of our stay, but this did not interfere too much with our comfort. Breakfast was served up in the room as the dining room was under renovation. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and by Paris standards spacious. A good all round hotel at the price, may be better facilities once renovations are completed so good idea to ask.
They had a renovation going on in the lobby, so esthetically the hotel didn't give the best first impression but the staff was friendly and the breakfast very good ( although you had to eat it in your room because of the renovation ). Cleanliness wasn't the best quality but then again the location was excellent.
This hotel provided a great introduction to Paris. Very nice views from room with large windows and balcony. Also, good location. However- this hotel is under construction beginning early January. The noise didn't bother us, but it would if you stayed in the hotel during the daytime. The place and value were great, we would recommend this hotel.
For med there is no more central location in Paris than the Corner of Boulevard St. Michet and the Boulevard St. Germain. In addition the entry to the Metro/RER with direct route to the airport 15 meters from the hotel. Very nice and friendly staff, good breakfast, and free wireless internett. Room and bathrom good and sufficient standard, for me via [website] very good price/perfomance ratio.
The good location means unfortunately, that there is much traffic noise
As with most older hotels in Paris the rooms are small. This is off set by the great location. The RER/Metro exits at the front door so travel from the station or airport is hassle free. Breakfast was included and the hotel stored our bags free of charge. Would stay again.
Great location, close to everything and very helpful. I'll be back :-) A l'annee prochaine
I highly recommend this hotel. It is 2 blocks to the Notre Dame and the quaint little alleys where the restaurants and gift shops are just outside the entrance to the hotel. It is so centrally located in the latin quarter and within walking distance to the marais area. The rooms are small but very clean and the staff are very helpful. I will stay here again. Take the hop on hop off bus to see the whole Paris area.
fantastic location. Very helpful staff. A lovely experience.
