Getting there:Getting There From Melbourne follow the Monash Freeway past the Dandenong exit. Turn off onto the South Gippsland Highway (M420), and follow this to the Bass Highway (A420) which leads to San Remo. Once across the bridge, follow the main road (B420) into Cowes. Turn right at the 4th roundabout (Chapel Street) and 200 metres down the hill, on the right hand side is The Coachman Motel

Owners were very courteous and very helpfull. Studio spa room was very clean and accessable to everything. The room was quiet and you could nothear outside noises when doors shut. very well insulated and very well serviced. Only thing I would say is that they change the air conditioning to split system possibly a split system with multiple heads to service a couple of apartments. Excellent stay

Walls very thin. Got woken up by kids next door and can hear people talking outside. Otherwise great. Could do with a microwave or some sort of basic cooking.

Large room with excellent fittings.
This motel was basically avarage and not 4 star as described. We were disappointed that the facilities were in need of updating and very basic. The water nozzle on the spa fell off and the towels were very minimal. It was probably overpriced but was good and I would describe it as 3 star.
Service was excellent. Very helpful people with nothing too much trouble even during the busy holiday period. Look forward to returning.

Great accommodation particularly for a family group. The self-contained accommodation was excellent, with plenty of room and all facilities provided. Shops and beach were all within walking distance. Would reccommend.
