Car parking:The Hotel Colombia is but a short distance away from a large car - park. The cost is 15,00 euro per day. It is possible to use a private garage with valet service. The cost is 20,00 € per day or 25,00 € if the service is requested between midnight and 7 a.m.

I love this hotel so much. You get so much for your money. The staff are lovely. Infact just thinking about it makes me want to go back

Nice little hotel near the station. Nothing wow, but I was on my own for a conference in Trieste, and it was perfect: confortable single bedrooms, a good but simple continental buffet breakfast, and freindly english-speaking staff with advice on where to go in town, a short walk away.

easy to find, very good location, very reasonable pizza restaurant out of hotel doors, left, 100yards to square, look opposite. Walk down the one way street to the far end a and tur left to get to sea front, 10mins walk. Back to hotel, staff friendly, breakfast adequate.
Walking distance to railway station. Central location
10 minute walk from centre. Breakfast room small with only six tables, with little choice. Bedrooms spacious and clean. Would stay there again.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast service was good. The only disadvantage was the non availability of some kind of food or beverage in the evening when one was forced to stay indoors due to heavy downpours outside. Addition of this facility would add to the convenience of an otherwise very comfortable hotel.
It would be nice to have some savouries at breakfast. Otherwise lovely hotel in a really convenient ( near station and in walking distance to main sights) and - for city centre in Italy - quiet location. Recommend tram ride to Opicina (giant cave is nearby) - tram stop just round the corner from hotel.
We stayed here last September and on our return to Trieste had no hesitation in rebooking. Highly recommended
Very convenient for the train and bus station and the sea front. very good deal on the price through this website i thought. has a good selection of maps and guides on the stairs , including a rough guide to italy for people like me who hadn't researched in advance. a confortable hotel

Excellent special rates during the first november week. Only drawback : the rooms are a bit dark.
This is an excellent hotel in the centre of town and within easy reach of the station. Staff are very pleasant and helpful and although Italian is an advantage most of them speak some English. Very comfortable bedroom with a lovely bathroom. I will definitely stay there again - hopefully early next year
An excellent hotel right in ther heart of Trieste.. in a very nice quiet location...very easy to find and excellent staff....the rooms were really nice and wasn't expensive...top marks
Nice and roomy hotel. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Liked the minimalist clean lines and lack of clutter. Good breakfast and access to local amenities. Parking was a pain in Trieste but hotel staff useful in organising a place to leave the car and have it back for us when we needed it at a cost. Pillows a bit too firm but that is the only complaint. Good value.
Great location just round the corner from the train & bus stations. Excellent power shower, the best yet! Friendly & knowledgable staff. Very pleased, would highly reccomend.
The public/communal areas such as reception and the breakfast room were very new and modern but the stairwell and rooms could do with a makeover. That being said, the 2 single rooms we were allocated were both very clean and tidy and adequate for one night.
