Colonial Hotel Stockholm

Very simple rooms and dirty bath /WC. Breakfast was good. For the cheap Price was it okay.

There was no internet connection on the top floor where I stayed. It was a cold night and the radiator was barely warm in the morning after being adjusted for max temp the whole night.

Good location. Breakfast was okay, but could use more variety of food. Bedroom was good enough.

Cheap hotel, good location, you have just a bed, a chair, a tv and one commodity, nothing more or less ;-)

This hotel is in the centre of Stockholm, what is very important for business travelers and tourists. It is only 10min on foot from central railways station. Quality of rooms is ideal for one or two days sleeping, but not for longer stay. By the way I was surprised of good breakfast :))

Perfect for my needs. Within a few minutes walk of all amenities in city centre. Bathrooms have top facilities. Cleanliness excellent. Will definitely use again if needed.

very good position, basic but clean and worth the price, very close to main street and central station, only room doors very noisy especially at night with people slamming them. receptionists very friendly. surely will visit the hotel again

Double room had two beds put together :(. We were charged a full amount 2 months prior to arrival. But at least people were friendly.

Bunkbeds and small rooms, but well located and functional and cheap

The room was cosy, but the breakfast was VERY poor.

quite old, you heared every door on the floor tremble when someone shut a door on the floor. small bathroom, no place to set your things down. only one chair in the room. heating very high, could not turn it lower. little choice in bread at breakfast, no fruit

Nice hotel, good experience. Relatively central and yet quiet. Short stay but would consider returning.

Hotel placed inside older building-lift from beggining of last century demanding closing of external as well as internal doors- otherwise it was impossible to use it, you often should step up 6 floors. Room incredibly small , the same for bathroom with shower enclosure- facility with modern design, but TV doesnot functioning. One of men in reception very uninviting, demanding payment in advance? Breakfast good, but very simple and minimal choice... Simply said-I would never like to stay in such a hotel for almost 100 EUR for twin room...

The reception staff was not particularly friendly or helpful, but the accommodation, although old ,was clean and adequate. The breakfast was good and efficiently organised.

Do not let the word hotel fool you, this place makes you pay for your bedding 50 sek, but apart from the very small rooms it is handy to city shopping center and bus and airport train. Would stay again.

The breakfast room was a little crowded. The hot water was luke. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay at Colonial Hotel.

Good location, old building with poor sound isolation, no warm water, but pricing reasonable.

I think when the original notification came it sis not include breakfast - however breakfast was provided - extensive buffet and good quality

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed by the kind of double room I get for 100 EUR these days. The hotel building is an old block of flats, and it has been transformed into a hotel with minimum of expenses. And it shows. Rooms are very small, everything is very worn, furniture included. Shower didn't work properly. I told this to receiptionist, hopefully he did something about it. Breakfast was very simple. On the more positive note, the staff was friendly and the location was good. But the next time I'm in town I'll book a hostel, because the price difference (20 eur vs. 100 eur) is just too much to pay for a fact that you are staying in a 'hostel' instead of a 'hotel', when the conditions are the same.
