Staff were very helpful and friendly, taking time to point out to us things of interest to do while in Blenheim.
A very good welcome and service. Good advce on where to go and what to do...excellant advice. Swimming pool was poor....small and dirty but this was compensated by the aother aspects of our stay

Staff made you very welcome and a comfortable place to stay.
I wanted a room close to the ferry to the north island and everything in picton was full. Nice units, although next to a main road - makes it easy to find but a bit noisy, especially on a warm night! All quite clean and tidy, though dated bathroom and would not recommend their breakfast - brought to my room but never seen runnier eggs!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colonial Motel, the owners were very friendly and even gave us a lift to the railway station to enable us to get the shuttle bus to Picton for the ferry, we would recomend this Motel to our friends .
