Hotel description:    John and Christine welcome you to the Colonial On Tay, 335 Tay Street, Invercargill.
We have 8 One Bedroom Units, 2 Two Bedroom units all with underfloor heating. Continental/Cooked breakfasts available delivered to Unit
We pride ourselves on our cleanliness of the units and welcome any feedback from our guests. Sky TV is in all units and DVD players are available on request.
50mb complimentary Wireless Internet is available through Zenbu in all units.
If you are Flying in we can arrange to meet you at the airport.
We are self rated at 3-4 Star. There are lots of things to see and do while you stay with us in Invercargill. Take a trip down to Bluff to Stirling Point- End of State Highway One.
View Stewart Island from the Bluff Hill Lookout, or catch the Ferry over and spend a day exploring.
Bill Richardson''''s Truck Museum is worth a visit but needs to be booked. Also the Worlds Fastest Indian display at E Hayes & Son and at the Information Centre. Main Retail area, Splash Palace, Cycle Velodrome and Stadium Southland are all within walking distance from our Motel.

Getting there: Situated on Tay Street. Second Motel through first set of Traffic Lights on the main highway from Dunedin.
Coming from Queenstown/Te Anau - Continue along North Road which runs into Dee Street to the Monument at Tay Street intersection. Turn left into Tay Street through town, past Burger King and we are approximately 1km from there.
Car parking: Large off street parking outside units.
Truck parking can be arranged.
