Pamukkale is located in the Denizli region, on the slopes of the Küçük Çökelez Mountain on the Çürüksu Valley side. This is a location on wide plateau with a 400m. altitude. Pamukkale is a world reknown tourism center for its natural beauty as well as the healing water and the ancient ruins.
This unique place is called Pamukkale (Cotton Castle) for its travertines that look like cotton heaps.
Spa Hotel Colossae Thermal is the only hotel to be rated a "Five-Star" in Denizli. This modern and splendid property has been operating since 1 January 2003. There are 207 standard rooms, 21 suit rooms and 3 rooms specially designed for the physically handicapped; indoor and outdoor swimming pools, 6 restaurants, 5 bars, night club, discotheque, Spa Health Center, Thermal Pool and Fitness Center, Mud Pools with thermal water and beauty and skin care.

SPA Hotel Colossae Thermal is located in the town of Karahayýt which is a subadministrative unit of the city of Denizli. The distance from Colossae to Denizli city center is 22 km and to Pamukkale 3 km. Denizli neighbors are Izmir, Mugla, Aydýn, Burdur, Isparta, Afyon and Antalya. There is minibus transport available from Denizli every hour in the winter season and every half-hour in the summer season. Bus and railway stations are 25 km away. Taxis are available around the clock at the bus station.
Closest airport Çardak is located 5 km from the town center. In the summer season there are daily flights to/from Istanbul. In the winter, there are two flights per week. Transportation is provided on the day of the flights from Denizli city center to the airport. |
