The Comfort Hotel an der Oper (three stars) with 49 rooms, has been refurbished in 2006, with conference room is located in the heart of the city between the fairground / ICC and the two most famous opera houses in Berlin, the "Deutsche Oper" and the "Staatsoper Unter den Linden" and near to Kurfrstendamm.

Getting there:
Public from Airport Tegel: Bus X9 to Zoo station, the subway U2 to station "Deutsche Oper". Public from trainstation Zoo: Subway U2 to station "Deutsche Oper". By car from any motorway enter the "Stadtring" (Autobahn 100), exit at Kaiserdamm-Sued, enter Bismarckstrasse in direction of the Siegessule. Hotel is on the right hand side.

The Hotel is located at "Deutsche Oper" undergorund station, so getting to the downtown is very easy and comfortable it takes ten minutes. The price of the room is very cheap but you get value for it. Big room, good bathroom. Please note that the breakfast is not included in the price of the room. The breakfast isn't cheap (13EUR/person/day) but very-very rich! And you have the option want it or not. Very good idea. Only those forget this hotel who afraid of earthquakes, because when the train arrives at the station, the house shaken... Berlin is a nice metropolis, everithing is very huge, we enjoyed our stay much.

Nice clean hotel with a very good buffett breakfast. Excellent location with the subway 1 minute across the road.

The hotel was being refurbished at time of visit but this did not spoil our stay. The location is some distance from the centre of Berlin but easily accessible by U-bahn. Easy to find and parking available. Several restaurants nearby.

We were given a beautiful and v big room. Location is 2 metro stops from city centre but close to metro station so not a hassle. Would definately stay there again.
