Getting there:After crossing the Santa Clara Bridge, turn left at the "Largo da Portagem" and continue forward on Emidio Navarro Avenue until reaching the traffic lights which are next to the Train Station. Enter Femão de Magalhães Avenue and continue on this street for approximately 250 metres at which time you will be able to see the Almedina Coimbra Hotel on your left-hand side. In order to enter the park next to the Hotel, continue on Femão de Magalhães Avenue until reaching some traffic lights. At this point continue straight on, on your left, for an additional 200 metres until reaching the first roundabout. Go around this roundabout and then double back.

We had a sitting room and a big bedroom. No traffic noise. Close by the river Mondego and the centre of Coimbra.
Small rooms but an excelent breakfast.
Refurbished Rooms with TV, AC and all the amenities that you would expect in a 3 star hotel or Superior. Bedding Configuration is Twin or Double bed, available upon arrival
The friendliness of the staff adds extra value to our stay. The breakfast was good and we would stay here again.

A fair hotel in a competitive evironment. Walking distance to most things of interest in the town and very quiet (double glazing). Quite comfortable.
