Two Bedroom Cottage / Apartment

Our 2-bedroom cottages are like a small home (or Bach) with holidaying in mind. Clean & tidy, being very peaceful set in nearly 3 acres of grounds, 150m from the water & within sight from the front of the property& some of the balcony's.
A typical bedding configuration is: a Queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 singles in the 2nd bedroom and a fold out bed settee in the open plan living area.
In the kitchen, you will find a freestanding cook top & oven (in most rooms), refrigerator & microwave. All the essential cooking utensils are available for you to feed the kids at a moments notice. The bathroom & toilet are separate to save a queue. Most rooms have 'direct dial' plastic card activated phones, satellite TV & radio alarm clocks.
The 1st floor apartments are set up with 2 queen beds (ideal for 2 couples) with a spa-bath. The ground floor apartments for growing families (up to 6).
All rooms are non-smoking.

Studio Apartment - a selection of modern and warm units that can sleep two people. A couple have either a sofa bed or bunks for an additional child.
Our tastefully decorated studio units were designed with your comfort in mind. Each large studio has a full Queen sized bed with electric blanket and ensuite bathroom.
For your convenience the London kitchen comes equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, refrigerator and microwave. We have installed direct dial telephones (9 for a line), satellite television and radio alarm clocks for your convenience.
All studio units are non smoking

One Bedroom Cottage / Apartment
One Bedroom Freestanding Cottage - modern, warm and can sleep up to three people comfortably.
Our tastefully decorated one-bedroom cottages were designed with your comfort in mind. The one-bedroom cottages are available in a number of different bedding configurations, but a typical unit will have a queen-sized bed in the master bedroom, and a single bed, either in the master bedroom or living area. In the living area there will be a sofa that will convert into an extra bed if required.
In the kitchen area, you will find a freestanding cook top and oven, complimented with refrigerator and microwave. All the essential cooking utensils to whip up a snack at a moments notice. The bathroom is just off the dinning area. Direct dial EziPay phones (9 for outside line), satellite television & radio alarm clocks for your convenience.

The Bay of Islands Resort is just a 10min walk from the busy PAIHIA waterfront. 2min from Te Haumi Beach, in a quite residential cul-de-sac. Hotel rooms, motel style units - parklike, spawling, seperate houses, ~ 3 acres.
Te Haumi Bay Beach is safe for family swimming and sunbathing. Paihia is an easy 10-15 minute walk around the waterfront, or alternatively a couple of minutes over the hill by car.
The property features a swimming pool for the enjoyment of our guests, a private function restaurant seating 40 or a conference hall venue catering for around 80. There is a TOUR booking office for the local tourist attractions, guest laundry and bar-b-que with Patanque for those late summer evenings in the “Winterless Far North”.
We offer quality accommodation, rated Qualmark 3 star plus self-contained and serviced. Many of our units have been recently refurbished, with your comfort in mind. Choose from our studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom or 2 bedroom spa bath executive apartments.
Our check in time is 2.00pm on the day of arrival, and check out is at 10.00am on the morning of departure. Extra charges apply after 11a.m.
The office is open from 8.00am to 7.00pm SUMMER, 6 in winter. If arriving after 6pm, please contact the Hotel on 09 402 7348 to ensure we hold your room.

From Auckland head north over the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Follow signs to WHANGAREI, and then to CAPE REINGA, until you reach KAWAKAWA. At the KAWAKAWA turn off, follow the signs to BAY OF ISLANDS & PAIHIA. We are on the lefthand side as you come into Paihia, just before the Beachcomber Resort. |

Check in time is from 2pm. A copy of your confirmation voucher & valid credit card is required at check in time as proof of payment.
The office is open from 7.30am to 7.00pm SUMMER - Winter 9-6.
If arriving after 6.00pm, please contact the Hotel 0800 402 734 or 027 234 2602 to confirm your room so we may leave the light on & electric blanket on in winter (or fan during Summer).
