Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver

The Hotel location was fantastic we went in Oct 2011, and we lucked out with the weather as it was lovely sunshine and we could walk every where! The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the Breakfast in the morning was amazing, mmmm Waffles! Although we were next/above the Irish pub, we were on the 3rd floor and not disturbed by any noise, we were at the front of the building and got some noise from the street but it wasnt enough to disturb us or our 1 yr old! The only thing missing was a ramp at the entrance for push chairs/wheel chairs, but the staff were more than obliging with heavy luggage etc. The only gripe about the area was the lack of family friendly restaurants for our evening meal(none of the pubs allow children) we found the White Spot restaurant 580 West Georgia Street really good

Very obliging staff, they found a room for us earlier than check-in time which was most appreciated after arriving very early from a long flight. Centrally located, with a reasonable price, and free internet made this hotel a good choice for us.

I stayed on the 2nd floor during St Patrick's Day. Overall, the noise level for me is ok and I was not disturbed by noise. Continental breakfast everyday the same but variety is good enough. Helpful staff. From the hotel, I basically walk to all the places of interest except stanley park.

Even though the location was good in terms of its proximity to Downtown Vancouver it was in the heart of the night club area. We stayed at the hotel on Thursday and Friday night and were disturbed by the loud music from the Irish pub below till 2am on the Thursday and on the Friday till 4am due to the loud music and street noise. We were unaware of this prior to booking.

In this price range, a very clean and well-serviced hotel. Room a bit tiny, but all amenities there, nice bathroom, and free well-functioning internet connection. A bit different to have the ample breakfast buffet (with do-it-yourself waffles) served in the sportspub in conjunction w the hotel, but it works ok. Takes around 15 min to walk to the downtown harbour centre, 10 min to get to the busy shopping streets.

This hotel was in the perfect location and price range. It requires a walk to exercise facilities however they are first rate and worth it if this a priority. There are a large concentration of bars and clubs in the area and it tends to be a bit loud on Friday and Saturday nights.

Whilst the room was good and the breakfast adequate, the hotel was let down by a number of steps at the entrance. The location was extremely bad, we certainly didn't venture from the hotel after dark.

hall areas look cheap and tacky but rooms good

Loved this hotel and the staff were fantastic! Got a large screen and a huge room on the 5th floor. Will definitely return.

Very good value, with great sized rooms and nice TV. Excellent complementary breakfast in Doolin's Irish Pub beneath the hotel.

Strategically located with a view of Granville Street, this hotel was fantastic. The Irish Pub was great. Food was delicious.

Excellent stay.

The hotel is located in the very centre of downtown Vancouver and hence is great for the bars, restaurants, etc. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
