"Riverfront Villas are in an excellent position right on the waterfront surrounded by nice grassland. We were upgraded to a 2 br villa which was great with 2 children. The ducks were a big hit with the kids. The Cadbury factory is quite close by and Hobart city is not very far. Worth a 2 day stay. We loved the place." - yvonne martin
"Only two faults, 1. the bed was too soft and my husband and I both woke up with sore backs each morning and 2. No airconditioning and it was quite hot whilst we were there, even a screen door would have been good so that we could open the door without sharing with nature.

Looking more like an upmarket riverside estate, Riverfront Villas has the major advantage of being within a 15 minute radius of Hobart’s top attractions: the City Centre, Battery Point, Salamanca Place, Wrest Point Casino and within a few minutes drive from Moorilla Winery, Cadbury Chocolate Factory and the Derwent Entertainment Centre.
Riverfront Villas consists of a series of fully furnished and equipped one, two & three bedroom villas situated on the banks of the Derwent River at Berriedale with Mt Wellington as a backdrop.

From Hobart Airport: Travel towards Hobart, cross the Tasman Bridge & take the Glenorchy turnoff then follow 'From Hobart' directions.
From Hobart: Take the Brooker Highway and travel north. Continue for about 10 minutes and look out for a large white sign "Riverfront Motel & Villas - Next Left" on the left hand side just after the Dobson St turnoff. Take the next left as sign indicates. Follow the signs which will take you under the highway to the river side fo the highway. Look out for a large yellow archway with a red "MOTEL" sign on top.
From Launceston: Travelling south along Booker Highway, about 5 minutes after the Granton turnoff, there is a large white sign "Riverfront Motel & Villas - Next Left" on the left hand side. Take the next left and follow signs. Look out for a large yellow archway with a red "MOTEL" sign on top.
