"i must admit we were'nt expecting much from this hotel having decided to go to chester races very late! pleasantly surprised by this hotel. its set in its own grounds with plenty of parking spaces! ideally situated from city centre only about 15 min walk we took a taxi and this only cost us £4!! the rooms were spacious and clean, even bathroom was satisfactory. only gripe really was the ironing board was broken but thats not really a problem. would definately stay there again. if your after comfort and easy access to city this is hotel for you!!" - Anonymous
"The room was clean and the hotel tidy. The room was quite cold at times and the radiators were time controlled centrally. There was no alternative heating that we could switch on. Continental breakfast is all there is available on site, although you can go over the road to the sister hotel if you want full English. Lots of parking space, 10 minutes drive into Chester. Staff were pleasant and helpful with any enquiries. It was a cheap hotel and for the price was quite good." - Anonymous
