Comfort Inn Hotel Chester

i must admit we were'nt expecting much from this hotel having decided to go to chester races very late! pleasantly surprised by this hotel. its set in its own grounds with plenty of parking spaces! ideally situated from city centre only about 15 min walk we took a taxi and this only cost us £4!! the rooms were spacious and clean, even bathroom was satisfactory. only gripe really was the ironing board was broken but thats not really a problem. would definately stay there again. if your after comfort and easy access to city this is hotel for you!!

The room was clean and the hotel tidy. The room was quite cold at times and the radiators were time controlled centrally. There was no alternative heating that we could switch on. Continental breakfast is all there is available on site, although you can go over the road to the sister hotel if you want full English. Lots of parking space, 10 minutes drive into Chester. Staff were pleasant and helpful with any enquiries. It was a cheap hotel and for the price was quite good.

Hotel was great value for money and in a really good location. I would definately stay again.

Lots of car parking space, taxi to town was 5 pounds.

This hotel is excellent value, rooms small but adequate, staff lovely. Walking distant to the town centre. Breakfast expensive and little choice. A friendly cheap hotel.

Great location only ten minute walk into the city, plenty of parking and good sized, clean rooms.

We were there for 5 days and did not have our sheets changed once and bed was badly made. We also found three breakfasts on our bill which we did not have.Otherwise Receptionists were very good and helpful.

Excellent place to stay if you want somewhere close to Chester City Centre without having to pay too much.

The only thing that I would like to comment on was the lack of hot water from the taps. At best it was tepid at any time. The shower was hot but I have assumed that it incorporated its' own heater.

Easy to find and very close to centre. We were offered a choice of rooms even though reception was very busy when we checked in. It should be noted that the advertised bar and restaurant is actually situated in a hotel across the road, which is nevertheless very welcoming with good food provided. When visiting Chester in the future we would definitely use this hotel which is great value for money.

We had no problems at all, and would use the hotel again if we need to visit Chester. We used the hotel as a base for day trips to North Wales

Staff couldn't be more helpful.

The hotel was ideally situated and stood in lovely grounds. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Had an enjoyable stay.
