Very convenient location in centre of Lorne. I was here for the marathon and the hotel is just steps from the start line.
Very good stay except that with the room we stayed in had an extremely hard bed. Not sure as to whether this was due to a new bed or the mattress itself but was like sleeping on a rock. Other than that we were very happy with the stay at the motel and service was very good.

The hotel was almost empty when I arrived. However, staff allocated the worst possible room for me with no views. At the time the second level of rooms with nice sea views was kept empty.
We found the room to be modern, well equiped ,comfortable and clean, but didn't appreciate a room with a view of a concrete retaining wall !!! Can't take that back to impress the folks in NZ.
A really enjoyable stay, friendly staff, good position and everything we needed was supplied. Will certainly make a return visit.
Only problem shown to a room that hadn't been serviced however quickly rectified with an alternative.
The room was very comfortable, spacious, with good facilities for making snacks if required. I did not use room service or have breakfast there as I was a ta conference across the road at the Cumberland. I would definately stay there again.
Room was large and close to shops & restaurants. We would not use shower as it had a lot of black mould on it. Not one pot or frypan of any kind was supplied in kitchenette which made cooking difficult.
A little sparcely decorated, but with all the facilities you need and a great location. The apartments have a full kitchen and stocked bar fridge. We were upgraded to a deluxe room without having to ask, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I'd definitely recommend these apartments to a visitor to the Great Ocean Road
