Getting there:At the Northbound Pacific Hwy entrance to the Lane Cove Tunnel we are situated in Gatacre Ave, behind the ''''North Shore Factory Clearance Centre'''' and a Shell Service Station. When travelling north simply turn left into Gatacre Ave, the 1st street left after the Northbound Pacific Hwy Tunnel entrance. If driving south on Pacific Hwy, turn right at Longueville Rd and then take the first street left (Kimberley Ave) to Gatacre Ave, 2nd street left. Alternatively drive past the hotel and and u-turn at the next set of lights at Hotham Pde. BY BUS : Pacific Hwy services 252, 253, 254 stop on the corner of Allison Ave at the motel. CBD Freeway buses 288, 292 ,293 & 294 stop on Longueville Rd 5 minutes walk from the motel. BY TRAIN : Artarmon Station is 1.2km north of the motel. This station can be accessed via Rimmington St & Broughton Rd. St Leonards Station is 2.1kms south. Take buses 253, 253 or 254 via Pacific Hwy to the corner of Allision Ave.
Check-in Procedure:Our office hours are 6:30am - 10:00pm Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 10:00pm Saturday & Sunday. Prior arrangement is necessary if arriving after 10pm, please contact the motel directly. Upon check-in a credit card imprint or $100 Bond is required by all guests to guarantee payment of incidental charges (eg meals, mini bar, phone). When opting to pay a $100 Bond, accommodation charges for each night booked are also processed upon check-in.

Hotel is clean and very simple. Available parking, very friendly staff. I will come back again when visiting Sydney .
Our room was just a basic room but it was so neat and tidy. I was impressed with having the room serviced every day. It was nice to go out all day and come home to a freshly made bed each night. There was no traffic noise which was surprising considering the highway is only a few meters away. All the staff were lovely and friendly.

Very clean older style motel with free undercover parking and good price. Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice leafy outlook from my room and very comfortable bed. Would prefer doona style bed linen rather than blanket. Would definately stay there again.
I'd sort low cost accommodation and on arrival, seeing that the building was old, I thought "Oh well, I only have to sleep here". I was pleasantly surprised. The room was smallish but adequate. Great TV. Bed linen was high quality and bath sheets were soft and cosey. Pity Internet only free for an hour, but fair enough for the low price. Although on the highway, there was no excessive noise. Spent two comfortable nights
I found the accommodation very good for the price, however i did find some members of the front desk to be rude and unhelpful. the restaurant staff were very good
Good location to get anywhere in and around the city quickly. Old style Motel but for the price it was very good
Overall a good experience with good service by staff. The bathroom had only just been renovated in my room which looked good but there appeared to be a leak in the toilet that meant a puddle of water appears and grows with each flush at your feet when using the facility - not a good feeling when nature calls in the middle of the night. Advised management who apologised and said they would take it up with the plumbers.
The food at the convenient onsite restaurant was excellent. However, the wine was rough red at ridiculously inflated prices.
The Hotel is very well placed on the outskirts of the city but in close proximity to Chatswood/North Sydney. Staff were very friedly and welcoming and the room was really cosy and clean and practical. The Restaurant is fantastic...and needs to be high lighted...I had a brilliant ' dinner of veal' French Provincial Style' ...it was served by the French chef...with gusto and character and great fun,...and the flavours were the best. I will certainly be staying again.
One of the locks on our door was broken, besides that everything was great!:-)
Proximity to highway increases traffic noise. Otherwise quite comfortable.
We were very pleased with the service and hospitality of the Comfort Inn, I was in Sydney for work and I got very lost. The manager guided me to the hotel even though I was 2 hours over closing time and they were polite and fantastic. Breakfast was the yummiest I have had even at 5 star hotels and the staff were friendly, well mannered and their uniforms were professional. I will most defiantly be back. ( this time with a better map)
All staff we met were very helpful. We were able to catch public transport into the city with a minimum of fuss & would not hesitate to stay at the Lane Cove Country Country Comfort again.
Comfort Inn North Shore is very difficult to find from any direction and if was not for a discounted rate would be over priced
Friendly and helpfull staff, onsite restaurant has very good service and good food. Good location just outside city with free parking, close to main bus routes. Fantastic pub 'The Longy' just around the corner!
An average motel for a short stay. relatively clean and convenient to Sydney if you like travelling by bus. It could do with some maintenance and repair as it is not in good physical shape, however, it was value for money for a five day stay.
