Spacious clean room with good bathroom, but no fridge.Room faced busy Vauxhall road, so some traffic noise.Undergoing renovations at ground level when we were there, but this did not cause a problem. Bus for city across the road.No character, but usable and convenient.
The hotel is only a five minute walk from Vauxhall tube. Good postion.Room was large and clean. Bathroom a good size, but no bath, only shower. Would happily stay here again. Front desk staff always looked like they were bored, and didn't want to be there.
The breakfast area was undergoing renovation and was the area provided was quite small but otherwise everything was fine. It is a bit of a walk from the underground. There are some good Portuguese restaurants in the immediate area.
First time at the hotel, I thought the reception staff friendly and helpful. Twin room spacious and well presented. Tea and coffee facilities provided and supplies topped up when required. House keepers friendly and helpful too. Pleased I could be left undisturbed to sleep late when needed. Breakfast was very good, eating as much as you like from a range of items, hot and cold drinks, cereals, toast, beans, croissant, cold meats, yoghurt. Would recommend hotel to others. I have already booked my next stay.
Not a fancy hotel, but clean & comfortable. We were a group of four adults and it was perfect for us. We were all very happy with our stay and would recommend.
A very clean hotel with a small cafe inside for that hard earned coffee. Rooms were of a good size. Only negative is the location. Not much in the immediate area, but only 10 mins walk to Vauxhall station and a bus stop across the street. Would recommend.
Super hotel according to the price. Central position not far from further transport to London City. The only negative thing to say is that the breakfast is very ordinary and monotonous.
the hotel we found was too far away from the nearest tube/station. the room we had was very suitable for a disabled person.
I was very satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The room was big, clean and with a good bathroom. the staff were fine and the location was suitable for my needs. It is 8-10 minute walk from the underground station at Vauxhall. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice budget hotel, i would definitively stay again
We were generally impressed. Rooms were a good size, has a good location, close to restaurants, delis, 7/11's and transport. One thing would be that the taxi service provided by the hotel, which we used to get to Waterloo International, was an "Un-metered fixed price" taxi, which we weren’t informed of and it may have been cheaper if we had used a regular metered one as it was a quiet time of day. Also wasn't any soap, shampoo etc provided, only a shampoo/body wash fixed in the shower, so might pay to take some along!! We would happily stay there again.
Quiet area, still close to city
Good value for money.
Nice hotel for the price. Some traffic noise on west-side rooms. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
stayed here many times when clubbing south of the river and will continue to do so. Adam(Brighton)
