"Rated 4 star? more like an average 3 star and I'm not fussy. 15 mins walk from lake and 10 mins walk into town. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Looks very posh on the website but hotel a bit tired looking. " - Shenda McKenna

"Rude concierge, grumpy porter, absent/distracted bar man: as customers we were made feel like we were a nuisance - just by being there. Booked a twin room, got a double. Asked for it to be changed, got muttering, grumbling sighs as response. Asked for a dring at the bar, no staff to be found. Receptionist phoned barman who couldn't get away again fast enough.
