"Friendly and supportive staff; hotel rooms in functional italian look and clean; everything operational (shower, air conditioning etc) except for the safe in the room; located 20 minutes walking distance from the lake and the center of Como. "Rude concierge, grumpy porter, absent/distracted bar man: as customers we were made feel like we were a nuisance - just by being there. Booked a twin room, got a double. Asked for it to be changed, got muttering, grumbling sighs as response. Asked for a dring at the bar, no staff to be found. Receptionist phoned barman who couldn't get away again fast enough.
