Very nice hotel and very helpful staff. Located in the centre of Venice, just on the Marcus Sqare, with easy access to everything. Next time in Venice, this is where I'll stay.
The Concordia Hotel is exceptional. The location is unbeatable, the staff are friendly and courteous, the food is good and service is great. Overall, I'd highly recommend it. It's location just North of St. Marks makes is accessible and very convenient. The staff are friendly, warm and always go out of their way to help you with your queries or find solutions for you. Their advice was useful and they made our stay there feel like home. Highly recommended. We've stayed in Venice before and been disappointed with the hotel. Concordia is an exception to prove the rule!
Excellent staff at reception and bar, the welcome drinks were lovely! We had a room which faced the backstreets of venice, which unfortunately were somewhat smelly with the windows open, but otherwise the hotel was fantastic. WOuld definitely recommend staying there- fantastic location a stone throw away from san marco square.
had an excellent stay...
Had a wonderful time at the Concordia during our stay in Venice. Being located so close to St Marks Square made our honeymoon in Venice just that little bit more special. The food in the hotel was exquisite.
rooms were very small, bathroom was very basic and very small, We had to change room 2 times because of various problems. TV were the smallest CRT TV set I ever saw. It's quite a shame for a "4" star hotel that charge more than 350 Euros a night for a very basic room. breakfast was good but they charge you if you want decent orange juice (the included one is same as powder-based juice!)
Great location with view on San Marco. Everything just around the hotel. Fast food restaurants in front of this hotel. You can reach this hotel by taking line 1 ( San Marco stop )
Great location overlooking San Marks Square. The hotel had all the character of yesteryear with a very modern bathroom. Would definately stay there again next time in Venice.
Brilliant location, great cold buffet breakfast. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice, but they did make an error with our booking and the room was made up as a double (we'd booked a twin). They offered us another room that wasn't as nice as the double one so they split the beds in the nice room to make two singles instead, which was no problem. We'd requested a non-smoking and the room smelt of smoke. Take your ear plugs though if you're a light sleeper as it is near to the bell tower. Overall would definitely recommend this hotel.
The only major criticism I have of the hotel is that the air conditioning wasn't working. This was the case in our room and also our friends’ room as well. When we reported the problem to reception, we were told that the air conditioning system was faulty. But we were left with the impression that in fact it just wasn't turned on until later in the year. Disappointing and no alternatives were offered (fan etc.). Apart from that the location was fantastic, the rooms were clean and well equipped and the staff were friendly and polite.
Lovely hotel, excellent size room and bath. Very new. Great location IF you want to be on the St. Marks Square. Church bells will drive you crazy. Staff was nice, but not the greatest. Just nice. Bellhop was pushy and wanted more tip. I definitely would stay here again, but this was my 2nd and last trip to Venice. It is a wonderful place, but so is all of Italy!! Go to Murano but DO NOT BUY ANYTHING there. We did buy---after much investigation and soul searching- a lovely Murano chandelier which was expensive--- and tried to compare it to the same style on Murano, but was much cheaper in Venice itself. take the #82 ACTV boat from the train station to St. Marks, it is funm, fast and cheap and you get a wonderful view of lots of Venice on the way in. The Mafia controls the gondolas and they are EXPENSIVE.
very good hotel - great location - helpful people
We've stayed at the Concordia twice now and enjoyed it both times. The rooms were lovely and the service great. It's practically on St Marks square and right in among the bustling streets and little shops. Loved it!
Excellent Hotel and very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Will certainly be using again in the future and recommending to friends and family.
One of the finest and friendliest Hotels we have ever stayed at. Can not single out any one person they were all wonderful. We felt welcome the moment we stepped in the door.
The location of the hotel was at the corner of St Marks Square. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly & obliging. Overall good value for money. Whilst we landed at Treviso Airport the journey into Venice could not have been easier; bus, water-bus and disembarking within 300m of the hotel.
Excellent location with very friendly and helpful staff. They were able to arrange several trips and water taxis back to the airport.
This is a great hotel to stay in whilst in Venice. It overlooks the Basilica and San Marco Square in the very best part of the city. The rooms are not large but we had a balcony overlooking the piazza. Service is definately 4 star. A great week-end
The hotel was beautiful and perfectly located; the staff was professional yet always friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!
The Concordia's location sells it, directly adjacent to St Mark's Square. Nice touch in offering free water bus to the glass factory, staff very attentive. One tip dont open the shutters on your room too wide, your likely to get a pigeon in your room. Within easy reach of some nice eating places and shops, especially if your interested in buying masks, leather shoes or handbags.
