"We can really recommend to stay at Confortel Barcelona hotel. Nice rooms, free internet access, breakfast was superb and serviceminded staff. Good location near the beach and a "local Rambla" with nice restaurants and local people. Also close to the subway and the Diagonal Mar shopping center. The rooms where also very nice and quiet. "Nice hotel. Service was ok. Only 2 persons were at the reception area and the line was really long. Beach is walking distance and train station is also walking distance. so its definitely a good location. has a tiny swimming pool and gym. but the beach is so accessible, so u can forgo the pool. i would stay here again for sure!! "This is a nice modern hotel, very clean, near the beach and at a good price. You have the advantage of being in a more suburban, local area but the extra travel to get into the main part of town. The different toursist sites require travel anyway, 2 stations are close, so if you want a quiet night time (by Barcelona standards) then this is OK. If you want to be central to the action then somewhere else is better. " - Stephen Paton
