I stayed four days at Confortel Pio XII. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and spacious. This is a good value if you want some peace and quiet and don't mind the metro ride into town
The hotel is less than a mile away from the Charmatin train station, it takes about 10 mins by taxi and 25 mins by metro to get to the airport. It is new or recently renovated. Very friendly personnel, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Great price!
Nice hotel but no bar or restaurant in late evenings and expensive breakfast. Rather in the middle of nowhere (though only 10min walk from metro station which is its saving grace), but good value for what it offers.
We stayed at this Hotel in Feb 2010. The place is very clean, staff friendly too. Rooms are cozy and water bottles in the mini bar are free of charge. There is a bus stop right in front of the Hotel, which runs till 11.00 pm. Metro is also walkable, takes abt 10-15 mins. A good place to have a sound sleep but takes abt 30 mins to the city center.
The bed in my room was very old and springy. I would recommend replacing it.
Located in the middle of high-ways, miles away from the City Centre. For the rest a nice hotel.

It was my second time in this hotel and it looks as clean and new as the first day, as I had been there when recently opened. Young staff very helpful and friendly, very good relation quality-price, good atmotsphere. Rooms are spacious and well maintained, completely soundproof. Nice and open view from all around. Quiet area, not in the centre of Madrid but very well communicated. Very recommendable hotel.
I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This hotel is in an isolated area; ie, no shops or restaurants nearby. The nearest supermarket is about a 10 minute walk and the Metro is about an 8 minute walk from the hotel. It only takes about 15 minutes to travel into the City Centre using the Metro so if you don't mind not staying central, this hotel would be fine. It is also quite near to the Bernabéu Football Stadium. I would stay here again.
