"Right opposite the station, so quite handy, but with the topography of Lausanne it can be a steep climb up to where most of the bars and restaurants are.
For the price I paid this was a good hotel, with decent sized room, but beware if booking in summer, there is no air conditioning. I have returned here, so that tells you I was quite happy." - Anonymous

The Continental Hotel is a modern, 4 star hotel opposite the railway station, with 116 rooms with connecting doors, plus non-smoking rooms with all expected comforts. Bus and metro to the IOC, Olympic Museum, Congress Centre, Ouchy, city centre, hospital, EPFL the university. The "Olympia" restaurant provides warm dishes from 11.30am until 10.30pm. 4 conference rooms are available for up to 180 people. "Flowers" night club.
