Via Roma, 16 I-31100 Treviso (Venice) Italy
Guests who love particular settings, period decor and atmospheres reminiscent of the early 1900s will find what they're looking for at the Continental. The communal areas are truly special (the bar, for example, features a very original counter), while many of the rooms, with all the comforts typical of a modern hotel, offer far from ordinary settings and furnishings. But it is nevertheless a modern structure (built in 1958 and renovated several times) and thus offers high standard services. Four well-equipped meeting rooms seating up to 80 people are available for meetings and small congresses. The hotel is situated in the centre of Treviso, a few metres from the train and coach stations and near the cultural, business and historical heart of the city.

Brilliant location near the train station and town centre. Lovely old-fashioned hotel in this sleepy old town.
We stayed there for one night and were given a room with a very noisy air conditioner. We were coming back for two nights a week after and advised the receptionist to give us a room with a quiet and good air conditioner but they gave us one that was worse than the first one. On the second night they changed our room and it was perfect. So out of 3 nights we managed to sleep once as in the first two rooms, the matresses were too soft as well to make matters worse. Apart from that we liked it and will stay there again because of its location but will definitely not recommend it to anyone else. I now know that there are comfortable rooms so I will insist in staying in one of them. They should invest in new air conditioners and hard mattresses as guest will always end up with back aches as happened to us.
Standard single room with bath or shower
Standard twin (2 beds) or double (large bed) with bath or shower.
Very conveniently situated. The breakfast was a big disappointment. Cheese and bread or cereals. No vegetables or meat of any kind.
Excellent location close to all amenities. Very cordial and friendly staff. Will definitely return on our next visit to Treviso.
We were offered a terrible room at first, but were changed to a much better room when we complained. I beleive vouchered clients are offered poor rooms at first. The same thing happened to a friend we were meeting there.
That is a normal hotel - clean and well situated - the railway station is only at 2 minutes walk at the hotel!
this was probably a luxe hotel in 1920, a lot of dark wood, high ceilings,...It isn't changed since then. Not a 4-star hotel, but good value for your money.
very nice hotel near railway station
Staff was extremely helpful - front desk personnel all spoke English. Ideally located close to the train station for day trips into Venice.
Approx. 100 Euro/night (double room) is a bit over priced - however; for 65 Euro( via this site - and low season + during financial crisis....) it is fair. Breakfast was a huge disappointment for us who likes to eat a steady one - It costs extra if you want salami, ham, cheese, egg, etc. Coffee, tea, juice (very questionable), yoghurt, butter, bread (one sort), marmalade, honey and some fruit (apple, banana or pears )is included. Small rooms (though we got one of the larger ones) but really nice if you like a hotel with charming interiors (late jugend style with a feel of the 50/-60:ies). cleaning staff: very nice. reception: not so friendly. serving staff: nice.
Rather old fashioned, and (when we were there) smelly. Otherwise, good value for money, and excellent location. 5 minutes walk from the station, 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Good centre for seeing Venice, Vicenza, Padua etc, all by train.
Disappointed with the overall standard of this hotel. Is rated 4 star but is looking quite tired and dated. Cleanliness however was good and as we arrived late in the evening the evening staff were helpful and friendly. Daytime staff were not!. Breakfast in my opinion was poor.
old but nice hotel very good location for day trips to Venice & Ryanair flights (across railway station) coffee at breakfast should be much better for Italian standards!! good shower
we found the hotel to be clean and was in aresonable location to comute to venice staff were helpful and good dinning nearby would use this again no internet accees had to go down the road but good for the price
Always use this hotel as our base in Treviso, prior to returning to Liverpool on an early flight the following day. Friendly staff and a warm welcome. Excellent base for exploring Treviso, Venice, etc. Handy for buses to the airport, and buses / trains to anywhere in Italy.
Old style hotel, very poor breakfast. Ideally situated for bus & trains and city center. Some great local restaurants.
Stayed here after being let down by another hotel and was probably better off. Maybe not the best location if you are looking for quiet escape but it is a short walk from plenty of bars, restaurants and culture. It is also a short walk to the railway station (venice) and the bus stop to and from Treviso airport. Bed linen was changed every day and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again.
I would say that overall I was a little disappointed with this 4 star hotel - although, in fairness, this is my general experience of similar hotels in Italy. They seem to lack something that hotels elsewhere have and I simply cannot put my finger on it. The staff were courteous, helpful and very friendly. Sadly the hotel looked like it came straight out of a 30's film set! The hotel itself was old in style and feel. The rooms desperately need a refresh - the decor was simply horrific. Breakfast simple but ok.
Very conveniently located for arrivals at Treviso Airport (10 minute bus ride) and for the train into Venice (3 minutes)
