Situated on a hill overlooking the Bay of Islands, Cook's Lookout Motel has unequalled panoramic views of Russell, Waitangi and the beautiful Bay of Islands. Chalet-style units nestle in the quiet gardens and native bush. The secure surroundings and privacy ensure a restful stay.
4 mins drive to central Paihia with its many restaurants, shops and bars. 3 mins drive to the beach. Tour buses pick-up at the gate.
Accommodation in 13 self-contained units consisting of Studios and 1 and 2-bedroom family apartments, all recently renovated with new kitchens and bathrooms. All of our units have phone, TV, hairdryer, ironing and cooking facilities, Wireless Broadband Internet Access and are strictly non-smoking, inside or outside.
We have a large, solar-heated swimming pool, trampoline and BBQ. Information and tour desk at office. Free pick up from motel for most tours. We can arrange your fishing trips, diving, sailing, horse riding, scenic flights and many, many more activities.

By car via Paihia: Drive along Paihia seafront until you come to a roundabout. Turn LEFT.
Drive 3 kilometres in the direction of Haruru Falls and Kerikeri.
At the top of a hill on your RIGHT you will see our yellow sign for Cook's Lookout Ocean View Motel. Turn RIGHT, then SECOND RIGHT at the next Cook's Lookout sign. We are on the right.
By car from Kerikeri direction: Drive down Puketona Road towards Paihia, after passing sign for Haruru Falls Resort drive up hill and take the next LEFT turn, then SECOND RIGHT as above.
Guests arriving by bus please let us know your arrival time if you require a pick-up.

Early Check In may be possible subject to availability. Luggage storage available if room is not ready. Late Check Out can be requested but may incur an additional charge. We would appreciate a phone call from guests who will be arriving after 6pm. |
| Car parking: |
Secure off-street parking outside all units, security cameras in operation. Please advise if you have more than one car (or a boat or trailer) - we do have additional space available for parking if required but advance warning makes it easier to handle. |
| Child Policy: |
We are happy to welcome well-behaved children, who will enjoy our large, solar-heated salt water swimming pool and trampoline. Parents please remember that we do not have a lifeguard on duty and children must be supervised at all times. |
