Copenhagen Strand Hotel

This is a very nice hotel with a great location. You just walk a block and you are at the water in beautiful Nyhaven. The hotel room is small but clean and nice and has everything you need. The staff was very friendly. The Hop on Hop off bus has a stop just a couple blocks away. I would recommend this hotel. We stayed here the night before we left for a cruise and it was perfect!

We felt as second class citizens with our Orbitz reservation. Upon check in, the receptionist asked if the two couples of us wanted adjacent rooms and we indicated that would be nice and he had them lined up. Then he discovered we were an Orbitz reservation and the two adjacent rooms disappeared which wasn't a big deal for us but it seemed our Orbitz reservation was a factor and made us wonder. Our room was quite small and the double bed was pushed against the wall making it difficult for one person to get in and out. As well there was only one reading light on one side of the bed. The hotel was perfectly adequate though nothing special.

Nice hotel in an old historical building directly on the waterfront. Rooms are rather small, but with wooden floor. Bathrooms are also small, but nicely refurbished.

I had a little single room at the end of a long corridor. It had two windows overlooking backyard where the dustbins were. The waste collectors came very early in the morning. They tried to work silently, but the vehicle was very noisy. Nevertheless, a nice stay in the hotel.

In a good position for the Nyhaven restaurant area, the Town Hall Square and the pedestrian shopping street. Very clean with good service. Only criticism would be the mediocre breakfast.

Great location. Free wireless access and computer in lobby to check emails. Expensive breakfast at 25 Euros a person. No airconditioning in the rooms, so ask for a fan in the summer. Excellent service.

This is a good hotel, well located, attentive service, quick check-in, check-out. Good value for the money.

Perfectly situated near "Ströget", but in a quiet surrounding.

Very nice hotel, beautifully situated close to Nyhavn. Room was comfortable, but a bit small. No wireless Internet. Excellent buffet breakfast, with absolutely delicious Danish pastries --- the real thing!!! Would stay there again, without a moment's hesitation.

Hotel only serves food at breakfast. Small, dated, room but with a very comfortable bed. No tea/coffee facility in room. Excellent location with friendly staff.

rooms bit small also requested room with walk in shower for my mum via internet which was not registerd so had to change rooms.only one room in whole hotel with walk in shower!

Good hotel in good area. No retaurant, but plenty nearby. Good breakfast buffet. OK price for Copenhagen. Recommended for the price bracket

Excellent staff, very relaxed and comfortable

We had a triple room-small-and very hot. They did give us a small fan to help, but we could not move to a room on a lower floor. Staff was very pleasant. I thought this room was overpriced and not a good value for what we paid. Good location. Breakfast was Ok-mostly bread, pastry and cereal.

Good hotel, thought it was a little expensive, the room was very small, especially because there was a person in a wheelchair so there was not very much space in the room. The breakfast wasn´t all that good, not very much variety. The location was very good and we could walk to the main attractions.

Too small breakfast room capacity and really poor service. So bad that we one day had to leave and eat breakfast outside the hotel. Nice room, but no cleaning during a 3 days stay execpt for new towels.

Very nice hotel, great location and pleasant staff. Very good value for money for Copenhagen. First room we were given was very small, however staff changed it without any problems to a more acceptable room for a six night stay!. Very good buffet breakfast also.

Nice hotel but rather pricey for a 3 star. However, Copenhagen is a very expensive city and most other hotels are around this price. Staff spoke perfect English - very helpful. Good location, walking distance to most attractions and shopping district.
