Getting there:Auckland Domestic / International Airport: 23 kilometers south of the city - approximately 40 minutes by taxi. Railway station: 1.5 kilometers - three minutes by car. Driving Directions From Auckland International / Domestic Airport: Turn left out of George Boult Drive. Follow signs along State Highway 20 North. Take the Pah Road turn-off, through the Broadway Shopping Centre. Turn left at Khyber Pass. At the top of Khyber Pass turn right onto Symonds Street. Go along Symonds Street past the university. Continue over the intersection of Waterloo and Anzac Avenue. Hotel is approximately 100 meters on the right.

May not be 5 star but it has good facilities, is very clean, with excellent service and is in a handy situation. Easily accessible free parking is a bonus.
We were under the impression that we had booked a deluxe room in a 4star hotel. This is not how I would have described it. Glad we went for deluxe room as I dread to think what the standard would have been like.

Excellent service and room. Great location close to city centre. Very useful to have central secure car parking. Helpful staff. Not too far to walk to Domain Gardens and harbourside.
Great place to stay would stay again .
Nothing special but did the job - mix up with booking put us into a twin share but Hotel upgraded booking to king bed room so good service.
A comfortable stay, close to most places of interest. Hotel staff were friendly and the room was comfortable. Perhaps a little cramped for two adults and two small children. Parking is on site, but first in wins - if you're lucky. Room service is quick and meals of fair value. Not outstanding but good to sum it all up.
Excellent value for money. The rooms are of a good standard and the staff were very helpful. Would recommend and definitely would stay here again
A great hotel to stay in for central city or Vector Arena. The restaurant was nice to eat in with good breakfast and dinner choices. Amazing views from all rooms. Pleasant helpful staff.

Nice place to stay but the parking is a nightmare.
Parking very tight had large van no parking for it as it bloked other cars. Because I had booked 3 rooms hotel could have made allowances for me? Three rooms one would have thought you get 3 parks. Other than this location excellent staff freindly price excellent Will come back again but must get parking sorted. Cheers R.Kingi
The attendant called Kenny was excellent if it was not for him we would have left the Hotel straight away because we were so disappointed with the parking situation. He helped out by providing other options, he was very helpful in the way of directions & assistance, and I firmly believe that he is an asset to there hotel -
The staff were most helpful. Initially given a room with a door problem in the bathroom the staff promptly and courteously arranged for us to transfor to another room. Limited wardrobe and drawer space meant that most of our clothing remained in our suitcase during our 4 night stay
Fantastic location, staff were really helpful, pricing was fantastic for what they offered.
Second time we have stayed here and found it very pleasant. Free parking is great but limited. Really like having a balcony.
Resticted parking space a bit of a problem but the staff did their best to help guests.
Requested extra linen and these were delivered promptly. Very handy to the Vector Arena. Friednly staff.
I don't think I would say this is a true 5 star as it did lack a few amentities however it was a nice hotel, in a convenient location, and the people who provided the service were fantastic.
My husband, and I are quite 'particular' about standards in accommodation, so I am pleased to say we were most happy with our 'Copthorne experience'. We would definitely not hesitate to make further bookings.
