"A very clean and friendly hotel. Although we had to pay for parking and there seemed to be very limited spaces. Good location on the harbour front. Our room looked out over the harbour. The breakfast was nice, it was a buffet style hot breakfast - also had cereals, fruit salads and yoghurt. Took us about 25mins to get to the airport from the hotel - but the traffic was quite heavy - although not sure if the traffic is always that heavy, it was a Saturday morning." - Joanne Prout


"Location is ideal in terms of restaurants,waterfront, CBD, & Vector Arena. Staff members were friendly & helpful but guests should be aware that the late night noise level is high at the viaduct end of the building. On Friday & Saturday nights expect very loud music until 4 a.m. The double glazing helps but if you are a light sleeper take the earplugs offered by reception, request a room at the other end of the building or maybe just join the noise makers!" - Ian Schofield

"Because of its locality it was very noisy on Friday & Saturday nights. This noise was coming from large groups of young people often in a drunken state. This hotel is close to Viaduct Basin area where there numerous cafes & Taverns etc. We in no way blame the hotel itself for this problem as it is a matter of locality. The hotel are endevouring to rectify the problem e.g. Trying to have volume of music from loud speakers on outside of buildings turned down & switched off altogether after a certain time." - Anonymous
