The Copthorne Hotel Gatwick is a charming 4-star country house-style hotel only a few minutes from London Gatwick Airport, offering inclusive long-term airport parking. The hotel is ideally located, with easy access to the many attractions in the local area. When it's time to unwind, try the leisure club, with its fully-equipped gym, squash courts, swimming pool and steam room. The Brasserie restaurant has an excellent choice from the char-grill or the stove and also includes a visit to our salad bar with a choice of freshly prepared salads and individual dressings. Enjoy afternoon tea, a light meal or a selection of salads and sandwiches in the tranquil library bar. The White Swan, our quaint traditional Sussex pub offers tasty rustic meals and overlooks the pond and spacious garden. For a special treat, visit our sumptuous Lion D'Or restaurant where you can enjoy fine dining in an intimate setting. There is a small overnight charge of 5.00 gbp for parking whilst resident at the hotel. There is a shuttle service to Gatwick airport from 0500 to 2200 at a cost of 3.00 GBP per person one way.

This is the 4th or 5th time I have stayed at this hotel when passing through Gatwick, and for the first time my expereince wasn't so good. The room air onditioning wasn't working which meant the room got quite warm. Also the carpet in the room was dirty and in need of replacment. It is however still good value and very convenient for a one night stop at Gatwick.
It's never a good thing to laught at your guest because of misunderstandings due to language. After an intercontinetal flight of 18 h it's easy to make a misstake. I don't need a teenager to make a joke of me.
These rooms are spacious with a comfortable seating area and charming views of our extensive grounds. All beds have duvets to provide that extra level of comfort and one movie is included FREE.
Club rooms offer exclusive access to the Club Lounge and are specifically designed with the business traveller in mind. The Lounge offers complimentary tea & coffee including free use of the PC. An ideal working environment for meeting colleagues. Additional in room facilities include bathrobes, free soft drinks from the mini-bar, chocolates, free high speed Internet access, air conditioning. All beds have duvets to provide that extra level of comfort.
Meals and drinks etc. seemed expensive to me, but then it is London area!

We had a very good time at this hotel. The staff were excellent and the surroundings were very beautiful. We stayed two nights and felt very rested when we left.
Excellent hotel in beautiful surroundings and about 15 minutes drive from Gatwick. Perfect for early and late flights.

The toilet barely flushed. We had to prime it with tap water on several occasions. The bed was too soft and sagged in the middle. There was only one towel and one bathrobe for two people. The bus to the airport ran only once an hour. We would not stay in this hotel a second time.
Fab Hotel. This is the 4th. time I have stayed here and it,s great.
Hotel was fine. Not happy with the taxi prices though; very expensive.
