"A great hotel. My only negative was that I'd booked (and paid an extra £10 for) a quayside room. When I got to the room, I found it was on the road side of the hotel. However, as I had had a long and exhausting drive, I didn't ask them to change it so can't comment on what their response would have been." - Anonymous

"While the hotel was OK, it reminded me more of a Travel Lodge than a 4* top Manchester hotel and had I paid the advertised desk rate of £210 Id have been very disappointed however for my £42 it was good enough as no different to other standard chain hotels. Despite being only a short distance from the city centre, this Manchester hotel is situated in a picturesque location over looking the waterfront that would seem to be a long cry from the city.
The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is located near several transport options. The Metrolink tram stop is just opposite the hotel while the motorways and main railway station are also within easy reach. Manchester Airport is also only 20 minutes away from Copthorne Hotel Manchester.
Local attractions include the Manchester United Football Club Museum and Tour, Imperial War Museum and The Lowry Centre. The City Centre is also within easy reach from the hotel, offering a fine shopping experience including the likes of Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Heals to name but a few.

Located on the prestigious Salford Quays development, the Copthorne Hotel Manchester has a Metrolink tram stop opposite, is 2 minutes from the M602, 15 minutes from the city centre, 15 minutes from Piccadilly mainline railway station and 20 minutes from Manchester International Airport.
By Road from the city centre:
Follow signs for A56 Chester. This will take you onto Deansgate and lead you onto Chester Road. Signs will say Old Trafford Cricket Ground/Trafford Park/Salford A5063. Continue on A56 until you reach White City Retail Park. Then follow signs for A5063 Salford, until you have crossed the iron bridge. The hotel is situated on the left.
Metrolink Tram From Piccadilly Station - The Metrolink can be found in Piccadilly Station. Catch any tram that has Eccles as its final destination. The Hotel is opposite the Exchange Quay Metro (7th stop from Piccadilly Station).
