Great hotel, comfort was good, location was excellent. Couldnt ask for a better hotel, since this is my second stayment over here.
We stayed here to attend a football match and it is in a perfect location for Old Trafford Football Stadium. It's a short tram ride into the centre of town. The room was lovely with a nice view over the water. The wifi was only free between 8am and 3pm which was a bit annoying and you couldn't use it in your hotel room. There are restaurants there but we didn't take advantage of them and so can't comment. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
the room is clean and spaces.good location.
Good room for the price reception very helpfull bar service average lots of bar staff chatting among them selfs, and this would only happen in England 24 hour room service menu but you can only get a very expensive sandwich as chef gone off shift. Great location Metro just across the rd and they use a very good priced taxi firm into the city.
Excellent location, 2 mins from tram and 3 miles from Trafford Centre, next to Old Trafford. Parking was a nightmare due to Christmas parties going on. Rooms basic but hotel rooms are basic, they are clean however. No issues and would stay here again.
The canal side rooms are the best but woul stay there regardless
Couldn't fault the room or facilities - but reception was a shambles: got my easy to spell surname wrong twice & tried to book me in for wrong duration then charge wrong bill! In spite of being asked 4 times over 2 days, failed to provide me breakfast voucher. Be warned - hotel is very close to Manchester United football ground so transport is a nightmare on match days - unless you're going to the match of course.
If you are going to watch Manchester United you couldn't pick a better hotel 7 mins walk away. Metro just across the road into City Centre. The buffet lunch, dinner and breakfast are exceptional value.
very good
Perfect location for the Cricket Ground. Reception service was exceptional. Breakfast on Sunday morning was a little chaotic but the staff were very polite and did their very best but seemed a little short-staffed and everyone appeared to be doing everything rather than having specific jobs or tables to look after. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would certainly stay again.
Good, decent hotel - worth the deal we got through Rates To Go - but would have been gutted if paid the full room cost! Faded from its former glory i feel.
We stayed over night, Very nice staff, great looking hotel, lobby, bar, etc.Excellent location, 5-10min walking distance to tram and Old Trafford. Clean, comfortable bed, room was non smoking but smelt of smoke. Hotel was fully booked so we had to ask for the room to be scent spaayed. Room was OK, not as cozy as expected. For some reason we couldnt get an outside telephone line despite providing credit card detail to reception. Couldnt dial any 0800 numbers either. Couldnt get TV to work until 4 operator calls later. We were asked to pull the socket out of the wall and plug back in. There was so much dust behind the TV cabinet that my partner sneezed for over an hour.
Only problem was a lack of air conditioning which made the room uncomforatbly hot as we were experiencing a heatwave.
Good hotel in ideal location for old trafford. Helpful staff.
Good value for money and convenient for work at Salford Quays
Very Pleasant stay. Though location is a bit far to Manchester city, but its within 10 mins walk to the nearest metro. Staff very friendly and helpful, they help to check me in the hotel at 7am, very worth for the price i pay, it even has bathtub in room.
Nice room for a reasonable price; excellent breakfast.
A great hotel. My only negative was that I'd booked (and paid an extra £10 for) a quayside room. When I got to the room, I found it was on the road side of the hotel. However, as I had had a long and exhausting drive, I didn't ask them to change it so can't comment on what their response would have been.
good room, good service, good surounding and good breakfast
Lighting is a bit dim if you need or want to do some reading. Also internet access is expensive (£8 per hour or £20 per day) compared to home costs
