Located on Hong Kong street near the waterfront in downtown Qingdao I found the hotel ideally situated for my quick weekend visit. From this location I could easily hit the Boat Show, the Beer Festival, a number of stores for stocking up my Western food supplies and then finish of the night at the New York Club. The hotel room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was good and included a bacon and eggs make-to-order bar. Now back to the Chinese hinterland to live my everyday life before my next all to infrequest Qingdao weekends.
very impressed with this hotel. The only criticism was that they did not use bottled water to make the tea and coffee in the restaurant. It was unpleasant to drink.Otherwise top marks all round excellent rate from this website

A nice hotel and service could be "very good" if the front desk staff and duty manager could smile instead of sulking. However, we had the previledge of being attended to by Neville at the Concierge. He is knowledgeable about the tourist areas in Qingdao and is pleasant to talk to.
Great hotel! They not only upgraded my room for free but were very attentive. The food is fairly good but nothing to write home about, but otherwise, this hotel is a spectacular deal.
I spent two nights here and found it a comfortable place to stay. Its about 40 minutes drive from the airport, located a couple of blocks from the sea in a business district. It is a standard 4-star hotel by Chinese standards, though the restaurant quality was below expectations. The rooms are large, clean, quiet and comfortable with an internet connection available. There are a couple of restaurants on premise, which I found dissapointing. The English speaking staff was courteous and professional. I would stay here again but plan to dine elsewhere. There is a Carrefour accross the street and a Starbucks next door and a number of other dining options within walking distance.
A sutiable hotel near amenities and nightlife. Fairly friendly staff but slightly seedy aspect to the 4th floor!
Well placed for airport bus (next door), regular buses (right out front), fish restaurants (whole street full, one block away),fast food and sea front.
