Copthorne Orchid Hotel Penang

What more can you say after you had a great stay , in a beautiful place , pool , beach , great rooms , good service , very reasonable prices and the weather was being good to you as well !

A fair and clean hotel, average value for money. We like it's location as it is on Tanjung Bungah, which is only 5 minutes to Gurney Drive and it has its own private beach.

Now sea view covered by 4 very tall apartments! However its worth for money

Check-in was a little slow since the booking details came in late but this could also had been compounded by our last minute reservation.Overall,I would re-visit this hotel.

The staff at the hotel were courteous and helpful. The hotel was not too far from all the places of interest and the free shuttle service provided by the hotel was very useful.

A decent hotel with a nice view of the sea from the room balcony.

I expected more from the Copthorne name. Hotel was ok, shuttle into town was available on a regular basis. My wife and I both enjoyed the wide choice on offer for breakfast. Not overly expensive and definitely worth considering.

I was upgraded to a room with a fantastic view and lovely balcony where I could listen to the waves. I liked exploring the local area and there's a bus stop right outside with an efficient cheap aircon bus service

Room quite old and water color is brown when first time use.

Good value for money, though not much to do around the hotel. Some good eateries across the road for cheap local food. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the small and secluded beach, though we were wary of the signs saying beware of jelly fish, so did not swim in the sea.

I like the hotel very much as i found that this hotel has private beach whereby when we played there it is quite privacy. Definitely, i will recommend this hotel to my friend when they come to Penang, Malaysia.

Had a good 5 days here in April with two teenage sons. Room was basic, but very clean. Hotel Staff were very helpful and the taxi system very cheap and efficient. Breakfast were plentiful and you could eat this by the edge of the pool. Enjoyed the stay there and would like to returnh at Christmas 2008.

The hotel rooms are reasonably sized but its F&F are rather old for a 4 star. Facilities are deploring maybe due to cost cuttings with the rates it charges - a trade off for those who are after a good $$$ deal and not too fussy about services.

Very good hotel for 3 days vacation!
