Excellent...we were laying over for two days returning from Singapore. Easy access from Heathrow on the Underground High St station in Kensington. Found a couple of good restaurants in the area. Loved the Club Room!
Awesome location- easily accessible from airport and the westend. mmost of the oxford street shops are available on the highstreet. many nearby excellent restauirants plus a 24 hour grocery store. Rooms small by American standards but standard for London. Nice bar.
Excellent location, comfortable bedroom, good bathroom, nice restaurant and terrific breakfast. Minor fault only airconditioning did not seem to go below 18 degrees, so a little too warm for sleeping.
This is my second stay at this hotel. I find it an excellent base when in London. The location is great, the rooms very comfortable & staff friendly. I will be staying again.
The hotel is in a great part of London and is of generally good standard, but the drinks are way overpriced!
Very good, very busy hotel about 5 minutes walk from Kensington High Street and tube station. In an upmarket part of town and close to many London attractions.
Hotel is very close to high str station, well located to shopping on high str as well. club rooms were clean... club lounge is convenient for computer usuage and meetings place.
We were very comfortable at this hotel and found the staff to be very helpful, friendly and efficient. We would certainly stay at the Copthorne Tara again.
We enjoyed to stay in this hotel near High street Kensington. The room was remarkably large for London standards in this price range. Really nothing to complain, would come here again, if the price stays at the current level. Right now it is better price/quality then the Queensway or Notting Hill area, where I stayed more often in the past period.
Better than expected given previous reviews that I'd read on this site. Convenient and reasonably priced
Room itself OK. Trouble is with the aircon. It is blowing very dry (and too warm) air into the room. If only you could open the window just a bit. Also there was cigarette smoke in the corridors.
A lot of positives. Have stayed here several times (as well as numerous other London hotels). Shall probably stay hereagain thanks to a combination of attributes. Club lounge with complimentary breakfast and use of computers with internet valuable.
It is not the first time in this hotel and most probably not the las. This is my hotel in London!!
A good hotel, perhaps a little run down now but still a great place to stay with great location.
Very convenient location. Would probably not stay here during summer months as air con would be ordinary....
Ok room, only thing that could be better would be the shower / sink - there is no mixer in the sink (separate taps for hot/cold water) and shower is a bit old. Been there before in the club rooms and those are already renovated. The staff was nice and I could even check in a bit earlier. good location.
Typical city hotel, well situared for public transport. Room service prices ridiculous.
Good hotel located just a couple of minutes walk from the underground in a quite area. Reasonable price. Many small restaurants and pubs in the neighbourghood.
A hotel that needs an awful lot of money spending on it now !!
Very good location, handy to Kensington High St, underground & bus, but a quiet location away from the hussle & bussle of the High St.
