Getting there:If driving, access is a short distance off the Bruce Highway turning off at Proserpine. The area is also serviced by two major airports, Whitsunday Coast Airport and the Hamilton Island Airport, where all daily flights are met by commercial transport bringing you directly to the resorts front door. Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport - local taxi, limousine and bus service meet each arriving flight to transport guests to Coral Sea Resort. Approx 30 minutes drive. Hamilton Island Airport - Local Ferry Companies Cruise Whitsunday and Fantasea Cruises regularly transport guests direct from Hamilton Island Airport to the mainland. Approx 45 mins by Ferry. Check-in Procedure:Coral Sea Resort has 24 hour reception. All credit card payments at Coral Sea Resort incur a surcharge of 1.5%. Please note for cash paying guests that an additional $100 per-authorisation will be taken on arrival to cover any incidentals during your stay. Please note that a copy of your Drivers License (Australian Residents) or Passport (International Travellers) is required upon arrival.

My wife and I spent a night in the Oceanview Room with a king bed, spa, and hammock in celebration of her 23rd birthday. We had a perfect stay. The king bed was extremely comfortable, the room was large, clean, and very nice. We especially enjoyed the spa and the hammock on the balcony. We would both highly recommend this hotel.
We had a lovely 3 day stay. Everything was good. Just a couple of comments. The shower recess surrounds could have been a little cleaner. The restaurant prices are on the high side. Although we had a garden view room, we did have quite a good sea view.

Hotel colouring and furnishings are dated, but still clean and tidy. Location is excellent. Had good service, especially from the night janitor who went beyond the call of duty and helped me out. Just check the bill on check-out: they undercharged us for breakfast (but the prices were ridiculous anyway) and tried to charge us $3 for internet we never connected. However they were good about it and took it off the bill when we disputed.
The decor is a little old fashioned, time for a soft furnishings upgrade. But the view is fantastic, the best you could ask for!
First class resort, would highly recommend it to anyone who is considering going to Airlie Beach

Our first stay was in a standard room, and it was clean, tidy and had a lovely view over the bay. Our return stay was in a suite, which was had much more 'wow' factor, with a much larger, lighter room, the same amazing view and an outdoor spa to view it from. Definitely recommend the hotel - the location is ideal for charterers collecting from Abel Point marina, and a really nice easy stroll into town. The views are lovely, the pool area really attractive and we found the staff very friendly and helpful.
Well appointed and conveniently located resort, but not cheap. The front desk staff were very helpful and attentive to our requirements. The food in the restaurant was very good, although the menu was somewhat limited, and in keeping with the resort, was fairly expensive. Overall, we were satisfied with what was offered.
Location was fantastic. Excellent ocean views from most part of the resort (even with garden views). Easy and nice walk to town centre and lagoon.

For a "top-of-the-range hotel" we expect at least the windows (for the ocean view) and the swimming pool to be clean! The stuff is friendly and the location is amazing!
Amazing view from Ocean View room and excellent location. Only 10min stroll from Airlie Beach with well-lit walkways into town.
Our room was situated above the restaurant and was decidedly noisy about 0530 onwards in the mornings. Views were delightful.
This is third time stayed there. Love big rooms and walking distance to town centre is easy.
Quality Resturant on site, nice pool and the watersports activities available from the jetty are a plus. Overall a reasonably priced venue with friendly and helpful staff.
The location is fabulous! Choose a seav-view room op apartment, it os worth the extra charge. The Ocean Rafting Tours at the Hotels own pier are very good.
Cleaning staff were training and some cleaning was below average. The view from the bayside room was very pleasant from our balcony. The bed was very comfortable and overall we enjoyed our stay. Price was average for the standard of room but the staff very friendly. We would stay again.
