Great location close to all the things you want to do in Amsterdam. Small room, but we only needed it for sleeping :)
The hotel is very central, right on Rokin's main strip. Our bedroom was right at the front so a bit boomtastic at night, but we stayed at the weekend. The hotel decor is tired and our room was a bit shabby, but very clean, and maid serviced every morning. A very, very comfortable bed and pillows. I slept really well, noise aside. Breakfast was a basic continental but fresh plus lovely coffee. All in all a bit expensive for what it was but I decided I was paying a little extra for the location, which if you're there to shop, pub and do the sights of Amsterdam, it's perfectly good.
Great friendly staff, always helpful...location was good too; easily accessible to everything...expected a bit more from the room itself in that it was bit tired and felt it a bit over-priced, but as I say, location and staff good, which makes a difference. Breakfast good too.
Very good would return again..
Nice and clean hotel. I do not like wetrooms but it was roomy and clean.
The hotel was generally OK, great location in the heart of Amsterdam. The rooms were tiny but I think all hotel rooms in Amsterdam are small. breakfast was average.
Very centrally located - easy walk from the train station & to all sites in Amsterdam. Basic hotel, nice having the breakfast - juice, eggs, rolls, meat & cheese, coffee & tea. Good value for the money.
Place was OK, most staff was good, but one in particular was very rude, and always made it seem like he was doing you a favor by talking to you - like he weas too busy watching TV to care about you. Great location, fairly clean.
We booked a tripple room and it was extremely small with broken over bed lights, no lighting around the vanity area - making us all go out into Amsterdam looking quite frightening! Wallpaper was splattered with some undefined black matter - lovely! Walpaper peeling in several places. Bed covers were shockingly smelly! Blankets were covered in cigarette holes. White sheets were worn but clean, as were the towels. Shower was surprisingly good! We did manage to look into a couple of other rooms and they looked far better, so if you are thinking about this hotel - then the location is very central to everything and if you can get a very cheap price, then go for it (you wont stay long in the room)!! By the way, bar was not open at any time during our three night stay! Breakfast choices were brown and white rolls, boiled eggs, cheese and ham and cornflakes. Not a great selection but enough to set you up for the day. Enjoy your trip to Amsterdam - we really did, its a great city!
Simple and clean. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good value but on a noisy street.
I was looking to stay in a hotel simply for somewhere to rest my head at night and have a nice warm shower in the morning. This is what I got and if I'm in Amsterdam again I'll stay in the Cordial. The location of the hotel was great and very easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks
You cannot beat this central location for the price! We were able to walk everywhere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definately return next time we're in Amsterdam. PS This hotel is not for people who want a quiet nights sleep (trams are noisy and revellers can be heard all night).
The hotel is nice, especially for the price. It is on dam square, which is thee most central location for downtown amsterdam. I left so early, that I didn't get to experience breakfast, so no opinion there. was all in all worth the money the only con is that I asked for a wakeup call at 6am, to catch my flight... I never received a call, but luckily had set the alarm on my phone.
Clean hotel with a very warm stuff. Only disadvantage is that there is no computer and internet facility.
Good accommodation for those on a budget, in a very convenient location just minutes from Dam Square. The rooms were on the small side but were clean and well maintained, with ensuite bathroom/toilet (no bath, but refreshing shower). The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine, and the staff were pleasant and friendly. It wasn't the Ritz or Hilton, but I had no complaints as it served it's purpose especially for price/location. I'd definetely stay here again.
if you want nothing more than a clean place, somewhere to rest your head and a central location, look no further!
I found this hotel to be very good value for money for the price I paid. All rooms have their own toilet and shower, staff were very polite and friendly at all times and kept the hotel spotless. Its location is about a ten minute walk from the train station and a short stroll from Dam Square, the flower market and not forgetting the red light district, will be staying at the hotel again on my next visit to Amsterdam, and would highly reccommend this hotel to anyone.
Very friendly and cozy. Helpful and professional staff.
Very central hotel, near to all parts of Amsterdam. 24hour reception and nice sized rooms
The staff was very friendly and helpful for many matters. In addition, the hotel is well located close to the Dam Square.
